Basically, if we all record a three-track mix, and then everyone sends those three-track mixes over to me, i'll mix them all together to make one long board members mix. If you're up for it, reply to this thread, record a three track mix (no intro's please for obvious reasons) and then send me the link. Deadline is 1st April Also, please post a tracklisting so that I can post the complete tracklisting for the full length mix afterwards It may be worth telling people what tunes your going to play in advance so that we don't end up with repeated tunes. I converted the wma to mp3, upped it to our server, and embedded the mp3 in the post. Nice track! The link you posted was a simple mp3 link which is fine... but you can only embed the mp3 (and therefore make it load in the fancy player) on this messageboard.

CDex is excellent. Stick to the maximum constant bitrate of 320kbps for archiving CD tracks digitally. However, for audio clips for linking on messageboards I'd definitely go lower to reduce the filesize; 128kbps is plenty as Jason suggested

I just use Media Player, but if you do use that you need to ensure you have the settings how you want them (I keep them at 320 mp3)

You know how to rip cd's yeah? (daft question but hey), rip the track, convert it to a say 128kbps mp3 then use www.zshare.net to upload, when it's uploaded post the link given.
