Sorry I got mixed up when I wrote that. I think this is just the first hour and half and I started 'butchering' sets after this one. -
Oxygen Room Judge Jules Guiseppe Ottaviani (live) Simon Patterson Richard Durand Sean Tyas Mark Eteson Nitrogen Room Matt Hardwick Jon O'Bir Activa Jordan Suckley Who's coming to this then? The best line up Gods has had on in a long time (including ASOT400). I'm really looking forward to this. Earlybirds sold out earlier today, which I'm annoyed about cos I've had to pay full price now since I left my credit card at home this morning.

This should be put in the non Radio 1 sets, as it is ripped from the Rapture TV broadcast.

Won't be attending unfortunately Tom, hope you have a good night mate. Nice one to Passion for sticking it on earlier to get more hours in lol -
Was going to see Jules all over the place at the time, so looking forward to hearing this set.

Tunes that only Judge Jules WOULD touch...
Gregg replied to Moonman's topic in Purely Music Discussion
Definitely Rockafellers Da Boss Track and Termination Source Poing 98. Never heard Da Boss Track played out (at least not to my recollection), so would have loved to have heard that at one of Jules' many classics nights I've been to. Roadblock The Rules and Unfair Justice The Truth would be another two I like. Another Jules only track would be the Youssou N'Dour & Neneh Cherry 7 Seconds white label as well. Can't see anyone else dropping Billie Girlfriend either! -

Pete Tong live from the Phoenix Festival on R1 back in 1996 was the first essential mix I ever recorded and I didn't miss a live one again for about 6-7 years. Tongy was a legend, obviously I preferred it when he played trance though all those (happy) years ago. He never sounded so happy on the radio as he did at Gatecrasher Lotherton Hall in 1999. Can't say I'd make an effort to go see him now though.

Judge Jules Friday 16th July 1999 (Tracklist Complete)
Gregg replied to Simcut's topic in Tracklistings Queries
There aren't any tunes on there that I don't know (except for the unknowns), but I find that tracklist very exciting. Certainly makes me up for Godskitchen classics on NYE an Passion classics on the 3rd. -
Interested in this as I've not heard much new trance this year. Was going off Armin's sound more and more toward the end of last year though. Personally, the 200th ASOT episode special is my favourite of the year mixes, but that's a mix to celebrate 4 years of ASOT, rather than a single year (give or take the odd 'real' classic like Love Stimulation and Tenshi dropped in!). Not gonna buy the CD though when it'll be broadcast around New Year.

I f***ing hate thieves and liars with a pure hatred. Sorry to hear of your loss, hopefully she'll still have a happy birthday.
-
I'm well out of touch with tunes this year, but i still think i could do better than anything Ministry arbitrarily mix for an album.
-
shocked yet again that Infected Mushroom are in the Top 10, yet there's no sign of John 00 Fleming! Ferry Corsten should have placed higher IMO. He's been better than Armin for over a year now. As for PvD, I've never really rated him as a DJ, even back in the 98-99 years. The Judge scored low, but like has already been said, losing his Saturday evening warm up slot probably made people think he'd just disappeared off the radio altogether. Yet again, another year, another poll, another farce.

Chicane - Offshore (Anthony Pappa Bootleg Mix)
Gregg replied to bigsteve's topic in Purely Music Discussion
http://www.discogs.com/release/62638 I'm not 100% sure, but track 13 and 14 of this album might be where the bootleg mix originated. The album was released a full year before the official Chicane release. I certainly heard it through my mates copy of this album before Pete Tong started playing it on the radio and in his sets. Hell, this album nearly predates the original Offshore release! EDIT: it actually does.
