  1. Not sure it is? I did the donation and the counter never shifted... :ermm:
  2. I'm up for this. My initial thought is Sarah McLachlan - Sweet Surrender (Tiesto Mix). It's difficult to choose 1 track but I'll go with this....
  3. Ok 5 is Cosmo Kid - Cosmic Meltdown I think it samples a bit of the vocal (and other bits) from soul searcher - cant get enough, possibly the rejected EP version but can't be sure....
  4. Fell off the chair when I saw a new Friday night show on the old archive.... Downloading now...Can't wait!
  5. Neuro - it does. I've hammered most of the 1999 era stuff I have (or obtained from here)...Look forward to some new stuff hopefully! Will have a search the loft just in case I missed any old tapes. The only issue I have now is I have no tape deck to play anything I find on!
  6. Yeah enjoyed mine. A bit of new and old and a tempo I don't often listen too although the song choice was v.good. Merry Christmas!
  7. Possible new audio...Nice....!
  8. Yep, wedding was only yesterday. Felt weird carrying a PC in and not decks/vinyl/CDs....
  9. So did the mix/played a few tunes after the band finished at 12:30 and track listing is as follows...... Robin S - Show Me Love Nadia Ali - Rapture (Avicii Remix) Paul Johnson - Get Down David Guetta - Play Hard Avicii - You Make Me Afrojack - The Spark ft. Spree Wilson Ian Van Dahl - Castle In the Sky Surreal - You Take my breath away Kristine Blonde - Love Shy Bit of a Greg James dance anthems effort but everyone enjoyed it!!! I did find out though that my on-board soundcard (done the set with Traktor Pro) didn't handle the whole PA affair so well so will be upgrading that to something much better for my Secret Santa Mix! Thanks for everyone's input on the tracks. Some of the other suggestions will go into a separate set I'll do for them to listen to at their leisure!
  10. Cheers all, some good pointers in there (and old classics I used to play at school discos). I did take a look at some old Dave Pearce stuff so should be good to go now..... Out of interest, I'm thinking of just taking my laptop with all the tunes rather than burn to CD and use on the hired DJs decks. Has anyone tried the Numark DJ2GO http://www.homedj.co.uk/ebuttonz/ebz_product_pages/numark_dj2go.shtml kit? It's entry level but all I'm after is the ability to mix. Given it has PC software to go with it, it's likely to be far more advanced than a couple of 1210s and Gemini 626 mixer any day..... Cheers....
  11. I'm up for this too. Will motivate me to get a second sound card for the PC and use the mixing stuff on the PC - Tracktor Pro I think....
  12. So I've said to my mate I'll do a few tunes at his wedding in October (later on in the evening when Grans gone to bed) and was thinking along the lines of some vocal stuff that most of the folk will know. We are all around 30 so school of 98 - 2002 mainly although there should be a fair few 20s and 30s there too. Some examples below of what I'm thinking so far..... Some of it's a bit cheesy but I need to cover all bases. Anyone got any other good suggestions along these sort of lines? It's a bit more Dave Pearce but it's all good :oddcake:.... Any help gratefully received.....! Kristine Blonde - Love Shy Surreal - Take My Breath Away Marc Et Claude l need your loving or loving you Baby D – Let me B you fantasy (Rank 1) Matt Derey – Beautiful Ian Van Dahl – castles in the sky
  13. I've had a listen a couple of times while working and to me it seems alright. I'm not up on my house or Trance - I listen a bit to Danny Howard on R1 but don't know if that counts as being up with things or not! It's probably worth a listen but maybe don't get your hopes up.....
  14. I prefer the studio sessions in fairness but the tracklisting for this one is great and the Friday night live shows were very good. I went to http://www.judgejulesarchive.co.uk/archives/board/index.php?/files/file/41-2000-04-21-judge-jules-live-from-karranga-at-creation-bristol/ and it was a great night....
  15. Nice to see some new audio. I've pretty much hammered the Ferry Corsten standing in for Jules session of late....! Anyone got any new studio sessions from 98-01 hiding about out there? There must be some somewhere....! :oddcake:
  16. How good is Sarah McLachlan - Sweet Surrender (DJ Tiesto Remix). Good set, not so sure about Mo-dem though...
  17. Think I've got the Ferry Corsten set on a PC somewhere (or a HDD). Will have a look... Cheers
  18. Not a patch on Dutch Forces mix from back in the day for me. It just sounds like the stuff Greg James would play on Dance anthems on a Friday night really (already mentioned - pseudo electro). On a side note - what on earth was David Guetta thinking....
  19. I always remember the Saturday shows had a different feel to the mix at the end (15-20 mins) compared to the Friday 30 minute mix. Saturday mixes felt lighter and uplifting, the Friday mixes had the intensity and often the harder stuff... Anyone else agree?
  20. Love this set, about 6 months before i got into Trance but a great one for the collection... Well done Fuzzy.....
  21. Hi All, Just checking through the old posts etc and notice a lot of promises for audio from tapes, MD etc (some of them classic shows too). I managed to get a couple of old tapes sorted not so long back and the guys pieced them together with existing audio. Would be great if we could get a few more old shows posted up (especially the 2 hour show that has Africa 2000, Rob n Joe, Olmic Heads, Armin and Ron Hagen in the 30 min mix)..... Cheers MM99
