  2. that looks alright, has Blocko got some ink? when did this happen?
  3. a/ i do that anyway, b/ CDJ800's i personally find the pitch pretty annoying. It's accurate, yes, doesnt waver, yes, but the pitch increments go up in .05 which is annoying. The 1000's go up in .02 which is deadly accurate (with 6% pitch switched on) and obviously technics are anologue, so i guess they're amazingly precise, but you have the wow and flutter. This is why i still, after all these years prefer mixing on technics, i find the 800mk2's difficult to mix on personally.
  4. let us know how many camels the locals offer you for your wife!
  5. i've never been one of the Seb Fontaine haters tbh. He had a bad 2 years from about 2001-2002 but after that, he became good again. I last saw him about 2 years ago and he was really good, he's a partly chap though so he was an easy target for the dance mags to pick on.
  6. Dave Spoon "Lummox" is well old, about 3-4 months old now. Another one Jules is very late on. The classic tune was Signum "Comin On Strong"
  7. What a tune! the first Dusty House EP was superb aswell. Its also good to see the more traditional house sound coming back. Whilst not immediately his style, these are the sort of tunes that cross pollinate genres, and Jules misses them, favouring mashups...
  8. what s it they say about posties always delivering....or emptying their sacs...
  9. yeah, i dont find it any easier or harder at all. I think its brilliant tbh. Theres a reason why all the big guns use it...What are you having trouble with on it?
  10. hmm, i never use the Service Centre thing so i dont know. Usually with any type of software license, they do require you to fax them your details so you can get yourself removed from it.
  11. dont forget to remove yourself from the license if you are selling it!
  12. Its not that bad i dont think. And, surely it would depend on where abouts you were to touch Dave Pearce surely?
  13. no, but i bet you've been to loads of clubs that have, where the treble is painfully high etc etc
  14. i seem to be quite lucky with hearing. Im one of the DJ's who cranks monitors right up, along with the que level on the mixer for headphones, yet my hearing is still pretty good, i've had it checked out too. So for me, its business as usual! s*** soundsystems dont help matters though.
  15. oh and 22 Euros for 2 halves Thats the best part of about 17 quid aint it? F00kin ell!
  16. look forward to the report and pix. Why was Jules disappointing though?
  17. he plays techno and tech house now...quite minimal...think along the lines of his old Mixmag "Rush Hour" cd, or check his essential mix from 2 years ago..
  18. the 900's look cool, i like the and the features, but £1100 is just way too much for a CD deck. I'll stick with the 800mk2 for the time being i think.
  19. i think i sid it in another thread, i cant see those catching on in the clubs for a good while yet, they're too hi tech for the time being. I dont think they are aimed at the bedroom DJ either, for a pair of those, you could get a second hand car or bike!
  20. when you get "sticky balls syndrome" god it drives me mad!
  21. negatory Briggsy...straight(!) mr average....gimme 6. Apparently it fits like a glove (so i've been told)
  22. sadly, that would be an outright lie!
  23. i've thought about using Ivor Nasticoff as a nom de plume lately...
  24. Jack Beats are really doing some great stuff at the minute. My favourite producers right now i'd say. It's all about the bass and the wobble.
