  1. Yeah we are off too. We havent booked yet as we are waiting for Radio 1 to announce when they'll be there. We are gonna book in the next three weeks, and if R1 still havent announced when they'll be there, we'll be booking for the second week of August. For 10 days. Cannot wait!
  2. When i did that it was a bit of a "up middle finger" to them lot on that board that only like Minimal. That Chris Kaeser tune does actually sound good in a club, it has to be the stonebridge mix though, and you err gotta pitch it up a wee bit. Anyways, when i get my new pair of headphones i will be doing a more "me" mix i.e more banging and slap a bit of trance in it...My current 'phones are fooked and i dont get paid till friday so err...yeah i'll knock one out then (a mix that is). You'll have to excuse the name "DJ Heroin"...it's a long story... Haze, hit me up on www.myspace.com/djstuartbusiness add me!
  3. you're right, not helpful! I used to love the Rhyhtm Masters productions; especially the remixes. Proper banging groovy house and they kept the funk. I always used to check their stuff. The sound that really sums up my style.
  4. gerald the gorilla....thats all i'm saying
  5. anyone got a digital copy of this in it's full length? I've been after this since Jules played it in 2000...i think it was also on the mighty CCGT2000. If anyone has it let me know, i'm afraid i aint got much to swap at the min as i've just wiped my hardrrive...
  6. JJ.net, a lot of them think they have all these tunes before everyone else, think they can mix better than everyone else. I say, well, why are'nt you playing out then? radio1 dance is the same to, i actually posted a mix on there the other day. Look for DJ heroins last post  Nothing annoys me more than trainspotters who think they are better than everyone else...I have had it too when i've played out "God i had this tune 6 weeks ago" or "Nah, he's s*** he cant mix"...WHATEVER!
  7. SEX! and loads of it!
  8. HE GOT OLD MIXMAG TAPES!!! WHAT YA GOT!!!? Straying slightly off topic here, but Fat Harry White...How funny was that? Mark & Lard used to be hilarious especially when they got the 1300-1500hrs slot. I also used to like Downcount and The Antiques "IS IT WORTH OWT" roadshow...good times...ohhh look, linky mclinks.... http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/shows/radcliff...o_archive.shtml I remember listen to this religiously everyday at work before i joined the C*****s. I used to be in a little office all on my own with a radio doing design work. This used to keep me sane.
  9. this is what i was saying to a mate the other day. Going to the local shop, not know what tunes were gonna be there. In a geeky way it was kind of like going into an Aladdins cave. Not to mention the amount of networking you could do with the guy behind the counter and other peeps in the shop etc... Sometimes i wish i could uninvent CDJs - although technically they are amazing and i love mine, i'd rather go back to basics and just have everyone go back to vinyl and the very sexy SL1200's. There was more character in it and a whole lot more love. Nukleuz Green was THE label of 99 and 2000. Nukleuz red also used to put out the odd good release too.
  10. well, Claude VonStroke "The Whistler" has just been signed to Data, gawd knows what they'll do to it!
  11. i liked and played it the first time it came out. TBH, then new mix doesnt add enough to it to warrant a full 3rd release.
  12. anyone know if this is either coming out, or where i can get it. I err actually quite like it!
  13. simply, TUNE! i think those old TUNE! signs should come back!

  15. Obviously "as the rush comes" remix they did, also the "Dangerous Power" track from a few months ago was good - albeit in the Discount Rhino mix...I find they are hit or miss. One production will be good, the next not so and so on. I have to listen a few times before deciding to buy one of their remixes.
  16. thanking you kind sir. I remember eagerly awaiting listening to this at the time. It was just after Ferry had the string of corking production and i always wanted to know what he was like as a dj...he's not bad. I think he's a producer first, DJ second though. Much like Eric Prydz. ******** just listened to the Ferry Corsten Mix, it's bloody good, especiallly as he builds to PVD "Another Way". I remember that most people used to play "Avenue" the flip to another way, but another way was so much better! I dhate to use the following phrase but this mix really is a "Journey", very very well programmed which i think has always been Judge Jules meal ticket - his programming. **********
  17. again, some nice selections here. I think you could still play Da Hool "w***ers On Duty" in todays club climate. It'd still work. Isnt it nice when you can hear the 12" crackles too. Ohh the days before CDJs...Thanks for upload Traill, something is better than nothing!
  18. firstly, thanks sooooo much for posting this. The friday night shows used to be top notch. I was 17 at the time of this show...The judge jules shows of this era inspired me to get into DJing and this sound back then was amazing. It still to this day, listening to this, makes the hairs stand on end. Secondly...my gosh...the friends of matthew remix by Lange is the best thing he's ever done. I dont quite know why Lange changed his style cos this sound is perfect for the clubs. Lange at this time was unstoppable and was immitated beyond belief. No one did the breakdowns like Lange. 99 was all about Lange, Darey and Corsten. I always thought Lange was THE producer of 99. A very special year that was with a lot of special tunes. I remember them all like it was yesterday. Once again, thanks for the upload, this has bought many happy memories back.
