  1. Completely agree with you Jason. Rekordbox's bpm analysis is so tight now that there really is no excuse for tracks drifting out during short transitions. Add in the very dodgy looping and inappropriate placement of "Something for your mind, your body & your soul" and what you have is an absolute car-crash of a set. Embarrassing.
  2. No lip-biting here - I think we need to be honest; his mixing was absolutely shocking. Each year he gets a little bit worse (which is hard to understand given the advances in DJ technology - it's easier than ever before!). Some people have always bashed him for his mixing technique, and yes there was always the odd clanger, but he used to absolutely nail most of them. And on vinyl too. I just wish he had retired completely a few years ago because this is embarrassing now. No one here wants to see a legend slide & struggle but continue on regardless.
  3. That Pitchin' "remix" sounds very similar to a pitched down original version!?
  4. Lovely, thanks mate.
  5. Funkypete, i'd be interested too mate! Cheers!

    New Shows?

Hi guys, Do we have any recently uploaded shows, or new content forthcoming? Need some new (old) stuff! Cheers, Tim.
  11. Hi Aza, hope you are well mate. Can I DL this from somewhere? Cheers, Tim.
  12. The instrumental was just a Jules special AFAIK.
  13. Hi all, My latest project has been a retrospective mix of some of my all time favourites - all are tracks that Jules supported heavily at the time. The Jam Session: Retrospective Mix (1996-2002) June 2018. 01. Fine Young Cannibals - I'm Not The Man I Used To Be (Rollo & Sister Bliss Monster Mix) 02. Hands Burn - Good Shot (Fontaine & Vern Mix) 03. Brooklyn Bounce - Club Bizarre (Tomcraft Mix) 04. Gold 'n' Delicious - Ascension 05. Vincent De Moor - Fly Away 06. Sonique - It Feels So Good (En-Motion Mix) 07. Matt Darey - Beautiful 08. Ratty - Sunrise (Here I Am) 09. Mario Più - Communication (Yomanda's Interference Mix) 10. Dumonde - Tomorrow (Jam-X & De Leon Mix) 11. Mr Phillips - 7th Day (Wednesday At BCM Mix) 12. Lost Tribe - Gamemaster (Matt Darey Mix) Cheers, Tim.
  14. Haha! No worries mate, cheers.
  15. Hi Tom, the Maelstrom releases have the vocal. It's at the start of the 2 main breakdowns and sounds like "Scooter de passion". Have just found the version with no vocal, it's on the Essential Recordings release!
  16. Hi all, I'm looking for a digital version of 'A9' - but the only ones I can find have a short vocal in the breakdown. I'm sure the vinyl copy I own (currently in storage) and the version Jules used to play didn't have any vocal. Can anyone shed any light on this? Cheers!
  17. The thing is, nobody ever screams!
  18. Jules at 3:55 (just after that muppet Sonique)
  19. You may be correct Tremor. However it's rather odd that he would even attempt this without first adjusting the gain and pitch. Which makes me think there were other forces at play. When he mixes out of Shrink & into Darude the audio level drops considerably. Then when he switches between the 2 copies of Darude, one is stereo and the other is mono. It then remains mono until he mixes into AMP. So he was definitely having technical issues.
  20. That Ambassador track is the second track, so what was the first one Jason?
  21. I think the record played between Joyenergiser & Stringer is MC Rob Sonic - "You Can Hear Me Now"
  22. That first track, I don't think it's taken from the Obscure Model EP! I have found the EP, it has 4 tracks on it, none sound like Jules' first tune that night??
