    SNOW

Well balls to the weather in this country. I'm going to the Philippines tomorrow ! I actually fly on Monday but am stopping at Heathrow tomorrow night. Whoop!
  2. Reckon I could make this but I live in the midlands so not really an option to travel there and back in a night.

    Moved

I'd upload a picture of my snowman but I'd have to p1ss about with photobucket as my camera is 13 mega pixels and hence a large file size.
  4. I bet none of those do warm up duties. Crasher use a Notts DJ called Joe Napier as their so called resident. He's absolute gash and the three time's I've seen him he has severely messed up. Maybe they may use one of these guys but Joe never appears on the line up anyway (perhaps because he's crap).

    Jade Goody

My mum died of cancer 8 years ago. It sucks . Makes me real sad to think she'll never see what I've grown into and that my kids will never know their gran. She'd have been a wicked gran too.
  6. Would like to go to this but I don't get back from holiday until late on the 25th and jet lag will most certainly be still messing my life up by the Friday. Would be interested to see R.Durrand and Meno seems to get rave reviews.
  7. I have this on doovde too. I cannot be bothered putting it on but some quick detective work has resulted in this Soundtrack Is it 808 State? I can't recollect the film menu but if it's not the suggested then try them all . Oh, top film. Especially like the coke badger  . He's proper mental :oddcake: .
  8. Oh my god some of the dancing in that last video is truly horrendous. And now for something completely different. Having started thinking about the old bosh anthems after adding to the Tidy Boys I thought of this one. Amazing track but if you don't like hard house, don't press play. Youtube Video ->Original Video

    Kit-Kats

I had a Kitkat Chunky last week. I don't really eat sweets but was in need of an energy boost so had one. It was superb .
  10. The Tidy Boys kick ass. I've seen them a few times. One of the most random was in the Polysexual room at a Gods in Bournemouth (BIC Arena). They started off their set with Morcambe & Wise - Bring Me Sunshine and then boshed the living hell out of the place. They were throwing boxes of PG Tips into the crowd. WFT ? I just love how they don't give a damn and just have a laugh. When you see somebody like Adam Sheridan or John Digweed it makes you wonder why they're in the business as they never seem to enjoy themselves. The Tidy Boys just d*** about. Hard house was what really got me into the dance music scene. Admitedly I don't like the current styles as it's way too hard and all sounds the same. Back in 99-2003 it was really bouncy and fun. Tracks like '12 Inch Thumpers - Dont Cross The Line' make me smile everytime. The Bryan Kearney remix of that is wicked. DJ's like Andy Farley, Fergie, BK et al. all used to blow the socks off me when I saw them. Some of the female DJ's were clearly there because they look good i.e. Anne Savage but the technical ability of most DJ's was really good with hosts of tricks up their sleeve. Savage could chop really well but her actual mixing was sh1te  .
  11. Why did I look at that as I'm about to go to bed. I'm certain to have nightmares now  :ermm:
  12. I wasn't saying it can't be done. I smoked from the age of 12 to 20 but no longer participate in the 'stand outside and get soaking for a fag' crew. Was so easy stopping. Just woke up one day and decided I didn't want to smoke anymore so I didn't. It was never an addiction, just a bad habbit. I did get a bit twitchy for a few days but I've been through worse.

    Serato...

You have Ableton but you don't use it? Surely you wouldn't fork out all that cash for something and not actually use it? I don't really think you can accurately predict whether everyone will ditch CDJ's for laptop DJ'ing. Jules said a good few years ago that most people would ditch vinyl given the possibilities of CDJ's and [unsurprisingly] he was right. Laptops give you more options, i.e. live editing of tracks, but I think CDJ's will be wround for a fair while yet (or I could be completely wrong ).
  14. Obviously had a good go at that seen as though it's only just the end of the first month. The problem with people stopping smoking is that you have to actually want to stop. Most just feel guilty about doing it and say it for the sake of making a resolution. They never intend on keeping that resolution if they're honest .
  15. As opposed to those fantasy night's you attend on your own or the proper 'Knights' that you like......
  16. I go from my laptop to a Creative Soundblaster external soundcard, which connects to my laptop through the USB port. The program I use is Audacity. Simple but effective .
  17. Does the new one have Bamboozle? Please tell me it does, please, please, please.
  18. Can't make this one. Live really close to the Emporium but I go on holiday that weekend. Shame :rubbish: .
  19. Yeah me too but as soon as I re-select download it works. Not sure if the new Beatport is to blame but it's just taken me an eternity to download 20 or so tracks. Absolutely ridiculous. It's never been that slow before. Anyone else experienced this or is it just my t'interweb connection being lame?
  20. Depends on whether you go for the weekend or just the Saturday. Personally I'd just do the Saturday to avoid living like a hobo in a tent all weekend and so I can go extra hard at it on the Saturday. I doub't I'll go. It was a bit of a chav fest when I went and so a few years on I expect it's worse now . The ability of people's dancing will likely have decreased even further also as I notice that whenever I go to a club. Lot's of pointing in the air and cringeworthy 'hand's in the air' moments .
  21. Not really mch to talk about mate as there's no lineup or whatever released yet .
  22. Like the look of this. Will have to check it out as back in the day this was a beast of a track. Am I reading this right? Is this the same track that we were all hammering 4 or 5 years ago. Respect to the guy if he's blown the dust off it and given it another spin for the masses. Would be wicked for him to drop the odd classic during his shows without warning.
  23. It's gash. Slower than a 70yr old man playing on the right wing. Takes ages to load. They do have quite a good selection of tracks at the moment though.
