Where is Jason anyway? haven't seen him for a while. Probably buying more vinyl again!
  2. Wow, I've just listened to that Gladiator track from the Qontact set and it's slightly different to the Homelands one! Looks like it's another edit Jules did of his track! Sound quality isn't too great on the Qontact one, but it's great to hear this track again
  3. Sound scouting Steve mate, I'll give him a quick bell too
  4. Hang on, what's going on here? My TL for the 30-minute mix is completely wrong, am I a week late or something?? :?

having a Jacey B moment there! That's hilarious the amount of time it'd take to do ID cards for everyone. Clearly it's on the agenda though if it's on the news again - they won't do it just yet, but eventually they'll slip it in.
  6. I love Coldplay, think I owned just about every track of theirs (including the rare singles B sides) until my hard drive crash and they were all wiped! New album is out next week, called X&Y
  7. haha, bit of a Julesism slipped in there - it's rubbing off finally! What date is it?
  8. Aza just needs to sort out his burning software so it does track marks that don't interrupt the mixing  - they are superb otherwise!! Any chance of putting the TLs of them all up again?
  9. Hi matey - thanks for finding me here! I'd be really interested in getting this off you, been looking for it for years and years! If you could register here (minimal info -> just name & email!), your account is activated immediately and then I can PM you about an offer! Do get back to me, thanks v much again! ...made my day this has
  10. Excellent mate! Do you have this on high-quality mp3? If so, then send me it so I can give my members a the very best quality download without crowd noise... (necessarily) I like this - a bit of competition here lads! I'll prob do a full copy and then my own re-edit...
  11. Just to let you all know, I haven't forgotten about that Gladiator track that Jules produced in 2001 for his new album but got stopped by copyright infringement. I'll be uploading the only clip available in the world (live from Homelands 2001) in a couple of weeks...
  12. Heya Infamous matey Do let us know if you find places to get tunes though - we'd have never have known how to get that Karl Gunton remix had I not stumbled across the website myself and told everyone on the old board just beofre the site went down, so thanks for the info - it is appreciated
  13. Your 1st record? I don't believe you! First record I ever bought I think was Airwave vs Rising Star - 'Sunspot' [bonzai Trance Progressive]

In Spain they are compulsory, and you use them to identify yourself in everything - going to hospital, buying beverages, the lot. Thing is though, I don't see any way in how they can improve things here in the UK; clearly it will open up new forging market like there always is with these things (such as passports, documents etc). What is meant to be the main point in them, anyway? I don't like the idea, personally; governments can already find out enough about a person if they really need to, it just gives them more control... Have they read Animal Farm?
  15. I've been listening to live radio streams from the many iTunes radio stations on offer, and there are often some superb mixes and tracks in perfect quality being streamed 24/7. I recommend those of you with a mint internet connection (not worth it on dial-up) go and download iTunes (it's free) and have a listen. If you can't be arsed to do that, check out http://www.di.fm/ and have a listen to whatever channel. Sometimes there's a lot of rubbish on, but other times you hit gold. It comes with TLs as well!
  16. Right. As an apology for the absolute mayhem that has happened, what with losing the archives temporarily, and losing the old board too (making you re-register), I've uploaded a very special mix for you all. It's by Judge Jules of course, a 3 track mix at the end of a Saturday show in 2000. In my opinion it's one of Jules' very best studio mixes EVER on Radio 1, despite being cut off early in the last track. 1) Nevada - 'Touched By The Hand' [uK Bonzai] 2) Oliver Klein - 'Rhinekraft' (Ian Wilkie Mix) [b Sides] 3) Three Drives - 'Sunset On Ibiza' [Massive Drive] Enjoy. Let me know what you think you lucky ones! http://www.judgejulesarchive.co.uk/audio/J...-Nov_2000--.mp3 (right-click, Save Target As...) Hope you enjoy the sound quality too!
  17. Aza - please list your mix CDs. Anyone here on the board who hasn't heard them will be genuinely amazed.

    Good B-Sides

I don't know about you lot but I find half the time I listen to the A side, find it disappointing, flip over, and sometimes find a gem I was never looking for That Intruder/Pound release I though was one of their weakest records to date! Bit bizarre, can't remember which side it was but it was absolutely awful! The other was ok, but nothing special. I didn't buy it.

    Above the Sky

Haha, I shouldn't laugh, but wasn't it Jacey B flaggin up Above The Sky on the old board in saying how much of a bargain it was?! The question is though - do we file ATS Records alongside the legendary HTFR? We should start a Hall of Shame!
  20. Pretty depressed I am! What a nightmare fortnight. Had an absolute shocker of an exam today (which isnt part of my degree it being History, but it was still bloody impossible), and I've still got most my exams to go - don't finish til the 3rd June. The chances of the webserver AND my PC going down at the same time you could put a bet on 1,000,000 to 1 it wouldn't happen, but my only conclusion is that I suffered the same fate as the server, for some reason. : There info was irrecoverable; I though even forked out on professional recovery software and found the damn web folder with all the website on. When I opened it, it was all corrupted - devastating, I can't begin to explain what it was like.  But thanks for your support everyone - it really pleases me to come on here and see the board bustling with new posts. Please keep it alive, for us! PS http://www.judgejulesarchive.co.uk/ I've redirected straight to this messageboard, because there's no point in a home page now I don't think. I'm pretty f***ing busy right now but I'll be on as much as I can to check it's all ticking over.
  21. Ok from what i can tell off a poor recording: 18. Dynamic Sense - 'Get Your Feet Back On The Ground' [White] Judge Jules Mix (30 minutes) 19. Pearl Jam vs The Invisible Man - 'Better Man' [White] 20. Mr Sam - 'Lytia' [White] 21. Judge Jules - 'The Serpent' [White] 22. Corduroy - 'Drifting' [Deep Blue] 23. DJ Atmospherik - 'Aquarius (Reloaded)' [White] 24. GD - 'Pukar' [White] 25. Thomas Datt pres. 2Roads - 'Arctic Rain' [White] Fire away if you can fill in the rest and correct the above Thank you all for your loyalty, I'm surprised most of you are still with me tbh
  22. Made In England was created basically for the production outfit Solar Stone vs Scott Bond releases that they didn't want to put under Deep Blue... it's a pretty new label I think?! Deep Blue is Solar Stone's label, not sure how much they have to do with it now though?
  23. I liked the smilies on our old Invision board better tbh! And yes, no Al-Jazeera smilie either which is a shame, we were just gettin used to finding the appropriate moments to use them too! The cat ones are bizarre, but know you and Uber I've no doubt you'll both find some place to use them!

    BBC Strike

Yes this will have affected BBC TV and Radio as well... :?
  25. I can do the last half hour of this show tonight, but can we get up a skeleton TL for the time being? Thanks everyone!
