Hi All,
Hopefully you lot can help.
About 10+ years ago I saw a video (might have it on an old Hard drive somewhere who knows) that was Jules going through the making of a track he was working on. seem to remember him being on the left of the picture in a dark coloured top and a big white Mac/PC type computer on the right. It may have been part of a TV program but a big section of the show or one of those Computer Music magazine type Video CD / DVD give away.
The track / remix he was making I've never heard anywhere else.
Any ideas?

Thanks for all the hard work on all these new uploads, 1998 is one of my favourite years. Had this on in the car today and System F - Out of The Blue sounds amazing.

Finally I.D.ed by someone on Youtube as S.O.O.N Sonata and is either the Original mix or Original Dub.

Les' 2019 remix with some other new mixes are finally getting released. The release includes the epic rare as Lange remix from 1998 in all its glory!

I personally dont think he has any clue or idea. He played a remix of motorcycle and said on his show that the remixer got hold of the acapella illegally or something, Rich was totally unaware that G&D themselves made the acapella available to download on their soundcloud (you still can now) to celebrate 10 years of the originally release and endorsed people dong new remixes using it. Shows how Rich Solarstone is caught up inside his own Pure brand bubble and has little to no cue as to whatever is going on outside of it.
As to the fabled unknown track, the stupid experts were obviously fans of it so have recreated it in their own style. I know they are friends of Cliffy Burrows, better off asking him or the stupid experts who hes freidns with about it.
Hmmm, I read on either the Blackhole records page or one of The Stupid Experts pages that it was released via J00F Recordings (their original releases defiantly were along with one of their most recent). Oh well, who knows as Its all irrelevant now anyway. They didn't reply to any of my messages.......

The Stupid Experts - For Alice is basically a modern progressive house version of the Unknown track played by either Jules or Colin. This would mean that as John 00 Flemming has released this on his lable he may know who did the version back in 2000. Either that or they (The Stupid Experts" ripped it off.

I know you posted this a while back but this is up on Mixcloud if you a still looking, bit of a crap recording though.
I got a couple of staff passes for this as my Dad was supplying some of the Equipment for it, needless to say, me and a mate spent the afternoon making the most of the Radio One backstage free bar. Gina G was performing on another stage that day but decided to join us at that bar. I had a professional camcorder with me and filmed some of it, Sonique is defiantly doing her thing on the recording but have no idea where the tape is.I'll chuck it up on Youtube if I find it.

As for the Lange remix..... I own it digitally...
I meant as In it didn't get a commercial release due to the sample clearance . I have a rip of the Club Class Seventeen CD that someone did for me so have a good copy of the original but as far as I know the Lange mix was only promoed by Serious on acetate. Do you have a copy on CD Jason?

Hi Guys,
I've been bugging Les for a few years now and he has finally had the time to rip and upload some of his old sets from Gold n Delicious. I've been bugging him to release his Gold n Delicious - Ascension track that Jules hammered in 1998 which I've loved since hearing it. He said he is planning on releasing and remixing it at some point and possibly the vocal version that is on his soundcloud page.

Tried for years to ID this as well, had it on tape and used to listen to it on my Walkman loads. Thanks for the upload. Have you emailed Jules, he might remember it as he sounded excited about it? Think it was late 1998 or early 1999 as I remember playing it to a friend at college that left around the same time (strange memory but he gave me a load of DJ Hixxy tapes off the back of it).

I have a copy of Dave Pearce's facebook video upload (2.30 mins ish) of this event, think it may have been part of a BBC promo? Can it be up loaded here some how so its not lost for ever and would anyone be interested in seeing it?

It does get faded out. Check it again yourself. Given it is near the end and it just maybe another 30 or so seconds of just the drums / percussion outro full length on the promo vinyl, but still.
Sadly Jason you are correct, really annoying and I hadn't noticed that.

So the commercial 12" was / is a miss press? or maybe just your copy? I wonder how many were misspresses
I've seen other copies the same (mispressed) like mine so may have been a big batch of them or at the last minute the Sample couldn't be cleared, who knows?
I've since bought this (https://www.discogs.com/Various-The-White-Disc-Volume-WD0026/release/723856) and the version on there doesn't fade out if you are looking for full digital copy of it?

just a thought but its not Marco V - Solarize (sounds similar to Sunrise) 2003 is it?
Also check out Sunrise records on discogs as they were formed in 2000, DJ's around that time would often get a White label / Acetate that had just had the record companies name and release number hand written on it and they read it out thinking it was the Artist / Title. JJ was guilty of that a few times over the years.

bit of a while since your post but.......I don't know if there is a difference as the mix Jules and Co played never got released (possibly due to clearance issues).
Although the Deconstruction 12" and CD release say they have the TACT 98 mix on they don't. The 12" is a double press of the B side (Anthem / Adrenalin). I remember rushing home after buying them only to find out they didn't have the mix on there they said did.
The only place to get the version Jules played was on the Deconstruction 12" Promo (labelled the same as the release version) or on one of the those White disc Promo CD compilation series .

I recorded the 2003 one live onto mini disc and cut out all the bits in between sets, its much better quality than the one above. if I get around to it ill rip / upload it from the 4 or 5 discs its on. I was told by someone that went to this that Fergie cleared the floor during some of his sets......
i think i have one from 2005 ish as well maybe before that Seb fontaine or Pete Tong won but i don't think its all the broadcast? will have a look
