  1. It was discussed in the Unknown Tracks forum here: http://www.judgejulesarchive.co.uk/archives/board/index.php?app=tracker&showissue=221 Admin sirs the mp3 clips in there aren't working / or visible, can somebody fix this so we can stream mp3s again?
  2. Agree with digitald (not digital delay by any chance by thew way sir? If so you need to re-release Choral Reef! ) The Nottingham set is quality, Jules in full flow!
  3. Jules's own track "Ordinary Day" day in this form is one of his best ever productions in my opinion.
  4. Got loads of old tapes from London pirate stations in the 90s, the only thing I hated was they hardly ever explained what the tracks were so could never hunt down any of the gems!
  5. Hmmm I don't remember this sir. Can you recall roughtly what time this would have been on?
  6. Saw this sir, it was because the act on the stage set off a flare which was designed for outdoor use only (it was cheaper than the indoor ones), and the flames raced through the ceiling foam. Most died through black smoke inhalation and because there was only 1 exit. Why is it fashionable abroad to let off fireworks and everything indoors? Only ever seen it outdoors over here.
  7. I totally agree with this by the way. Without sounding like an old man, it was more fun.
  8. Didnt realize, some absolute classics in that half hour mix! Good on Jules, love Freefall & Skydive

    Welcome sir, enjoy! :pirate:
  13. Here here! Thanks for everybody's mixes that they've uploaded this year, and all the amazing Jules nostalgia too. This is the best board for audio old and new. Roll on 2013 and a Happy Christmas to everybody
  14. I disagree with this Chewbs! They are wonderful examples of Jules's excellent choice of crossover tracks back in the day. The 'Extek' track for example starts from almost nothing, but it just builds and builds with layers and layers and layers of percussion.... that's depth. Absolutely magnificent start to the half hour mix!
  15. I agree! Tiesto's mix of this doesn't need a re-touch, it just frustrates those who remember it properly the first time
  16. I remember this live, excellent show! Can't wait to download it now. From memory Tiesto does slag off the old '99 era in one moment by saying back then that "every DJ was playing Trance" whereas today there is more dance music diversity... although I do see his point. Be interesting to see if I dreamt that or not! Downloading now Thanks mitchmix99 sir
  17. Thanks sir! Looking forward to this Morillo set Whooosh I also see mitchmix99 has submitted loads of new audio too! Good work sirs!
  18. I also have a penchant for early baroque music! Like these chaps are enjoying...
  19. Mr Oizo - Flatbeat Jules mentioned back in 1999 he loved this track but I think it's a load of bollocks! And that stupid flat eric...
  20. Welcome sir. I'm sure you wore out those tapes just like the rest of us!
  21. No way sir!! If you have more old audio, you need to get on the case. I'd be delighted to hear them... Go on Simcut, feed the board's craving! It's hungry
  22. Send the tapes to one of the moderators or admin on here, I know they have digitized loads of people's tapes and uploaded them on here. They are like gold dust, I'm sure I speak for everyone on here that we would all implore you to dig them out and send them in for archiving.
  23. I have always loved the electronic music of the 80s as it was what I grew up with. It became very unfashionable later in the 90s ("The 1980s - the decade that music forgot", apparently) but today the sounds are even more relevant now than they ever were. Too much to mention, but New Order, Electronic, Duran Duran, A-Ha, Pet Shop Boys.... a lot of PSB actually :shifty: This is a masterpiece for me... stay with it:
