  1. Sending to you now, Aza!
  2. Right then, here's a track that I've been working on since Friday. I'd been a bit stuck with regards to trance lately, finding it hard to compose a track that was quite right. Anyway, here's the result of my first full trancer in Ableton... Christian Hann - Fireflies http://www.speedyshare.com/files/19537285/Christian_Hann_-__Fireflies___160_sampler_.mp3 It's a 160kps - but on the offchance you would like higher quality just holler me and I'll send it through! Feedback very much welcomed... C

    iPhone

I got the iPhone 3Gs as an upgrade on Orange for my birthday. I'm a total Apple convert - and I love the iPhone. I think part of it is because i'm a gadget freak anyway, but I love how easy it is to use and how it has everything I need in one package - music, video, internet, email... I don't have a laptop so it's the next best thing for mobile computing. The app selection for the iPhone is superior to it's rivals, but I've not downloaded anything as yet that isn't free so I'm not spending over the odds either. The marketing behind the iPhone and Apple in general I feel is really clever and I think that's gone some way to sway my opinion. I'm pretty shallow when it comes to brand image With regards to the fair usage policy, it's an interesting clause to look into especially as I work for Which? - shall I find out a legal response for you Briggsy ? I've been really caning 3G and wifi, but I haven't used a tenth of the limit in about a month, so I'm not really worried about hitting it.

  9. Thanks for all of the comments and feedback guys - will be continuing to explore Albeton...
  10. Guys and Gals, I've been making the switch over to producing on Albeton. Here is the first full track I've made - it's really simple, mostly as I'm still getting used to the program - so mastering etc is not really up to scratch. Albeton's great though, am definitely going to be dedicating some time to learning the more advanced features to achieve my goal of getting a track of my own released! The track is called 'Arona' http://www.speedyshare.com/456729761.html Any feedback welcome, Christian
  11. Yes, I know. I wanted it all to be confirmed before I mentioned! It is on DJD too http://www.djdownload.com/searchmatic.php?st=space+motion&f=searchBox&sf=all
  12. My 2 x remixes that I completed for Space Motion back in April/May have been released today Really pleased as this is the first time I have had music on sites to buy! Space Motion - Love Cactus (Christian Hann Sound of Summer Remix) Space Motion - Venom (Christian Hann Remix) So... see what you think. The tracks are on Fourty-5, a Bonzai sub label, so amazing to be part of this label family, as it is one of my favourites. http://bonzaimusic.trackitdown.net/recordlabel/322/fourty-5.html It's also on Beatport and Trackitdown.
  13. This is a great vid - should check out the tutorials Airbase has put up on You Tube about Albeton too - really useful.
  14. Great mix Marty - nice inclusion of 2 new MW bootlegs too.
  15. Just thought would add my own 2 cents about the night - should have brought my proper camera really as the one of my phone produced some dodgy blurry pics, so really not worth putting them up I'm afraid - i can confirm though that the night did occur haha! Anyway, I'd been looking forward to the night all last week and got chatting to a friend of mine at work who had just come back from Ibiza with 2 friends - they had loved it and were more than ready for a Ministry night out as they had not been before. The lure of Sister Bliss playing also played a part in it! And that is how 3 lovely ladies were to join us On the night itself, I popped home to get changed from work then headed into town to meet Tim around Embankment. Ended up going to a Ha Ha! Bar I think, which was ok for drinks but fairly dull surroundings. We wanted music! After a few Coronas and G&Ts, we headed to Elephant and Castle to meet up with my friends from work and Tom to sort tickets and say hello. Thanks again for sorting these! From looking on the MOS site, they whack on a ridiculous "booking fee" of £1.95, even for advance so the reduced tix made the night great value. We then headed across to MOS about 11:45 ish, and hit the dancefloor. It was great for Tim to run into his old uni friends too. We checked Sister Bliss, who, as Tim said, was playing some storming tracks, perfect 130 bpm warm up material. Didn't recognise a lot she played, but I did remember Joris Voorn - 'Sweep The Floor', which I'd bought a week previously - Ms Bliss was right on the EFX too, delaying and echoing this track to good effect. I love seeing female Djs play and Sister Bliss is now one of my faves. Jules was on next, but so was Tom so we headed over after the first track, which sounded really good - will have to check out the TL for the September mix it's on. Tom's set was a blinder - nuff said! had the intimate room really going for it, and I need to find out every track you played as I want to buy them all! Really well done matey, would see you play anytime My friend Helen also commented that it was her fave set of the night and you should play the Which? Xmas party haha, that'd wake em up! We all headed back to the Box to see the end of Jules (who dropped 'Drop Zone' as we walked in and I went a bit crazy) and then enjoyed an hour of Orkidea before I left to catch the first train home at about 4 ish. Was really impressed by his set, played some really interesting intricate trance included that 3/3 time track that Tim mentioned - desperate to know what that is. I did find out though that one of the tracks he played and I liked was Andy Moor and Lange - 'Stadium Four' - all about the breakdown! I'm off to finish packing now guys and gals as I'm moving to a new flat today, and start my new promotion role on Monday, so a lot of change going on, but all for the better!

  23. Have just come back from the British 5k run in central London - click below for a pic of me with my medal in our garden! http://www.justgiving.com/christianhann/ By my reckoning, I did it in roughly 30 mins (their timing was rubbish and disorganised). I'm pleased though as it's my first distance organized run! 10K next year. I ran for the Alzheimer's society so if you are impressed then feel free to donate on my page above
