Cheers, Chrissie. Her ankle is much better now and she's managed to go back to work

Ah bless  Thanks Chrissie I've been away at T in the Park all weekend. We camped for the first time and luckily got our tent set up between showers. Some people that arrived after us got turned away because the car parks had become flooded. After we got back from the arena on Friday night, people with tents were still arriving and had to set their tents up in mud. The campsite was a mess. All the 'paths' were well muddy, but we had wellies so coped OK. Saw Arctic Monkeys, Bloc Party, Calvin Harris (they had the tent bouncing), Klaxons, Razorlight and The Killers (who were amazing. Unfortunately my gf sprained her ankle on Saturday afternoon on a rough bit of ground and so we didn't get round all the bands we wanted to see and then had to leave Sunday morning, just as the mud was drying out Nevertheless, we made had a good weekend and made the best of it. I think in future we'll stick with going up for just one day and not camp. Glad I've done the 'camping at a festival' bit, but never again

  7. I'm with you Stuart. These places are really really bad to be in. There is so much attitude in them and its hard to enjoy them. I always feel like I'm watching over my back for a knife to appear. I was one of the ones that applauded Dave after Coloursfest last year, but when I saw his tour dates, I was shocked at the venues he plays in. I admit he won't get big gigs, but I'm sure even Dave can get better gigs than these. Maybe play the odd carpet club, but they're all pretty much the same on that list, and probably all have the same parent company.

  9. Whats this comment thing all about then? Sorry I missed your show tonight - hope it went well

  10. Oi! Munki! You going to see Jules end of March. I'm VERY tempted with this un

  11. Been here since 8. Loving it mate 8-) Nice remix of the GB2 tune too
  12. Have a great night mate  Hope to be listening in tonight as I've sacked Big Brother off after the farce earlier this week
  13. A couple of nice choices there mate
  14. I take your point Briggsy about the financial implications, but it would be great to hear Jules do a radio show with no worries about fitting round other DJs. Although the area coverage for Kiss is far greater than R1, there's always the internet
  15. Any chance you could reduce your signature in width a bit, I have to scroll left and right to read everything! Cheers 8-)
  16. That cheesy Trance mix wasn't done by Dave Pearce - it was done by none other than our big friends that have hijacked the first 10 minutes of Jules's show - yes, thats right, The Cut Up Boys! Well I never knew that! He always led me to believe it was his mixing. Why did he get the Cut Up Boys to do it :?
  17. Since Dangerous left/got booted out of his mon-thu evening show on Radio 1, I think he has improved. In that show he was playing R'n'f'B, pop, rap and everything else, incl a usually quite cheesy trance mix. Obviously, he had to play this way for the audience at that time of day/week and I'm sure he has converted a fair number of people to trance in doing so. However, he now only has his Dance Anthems show (albeit now 2 hours, when it was originally 3) and he seems to have a loose leash on what he plays. Yes, he still is on the cheesy side of things, but his set at Coloursfest went down a treat and there's no escaping the fact that he enjoys doing what he's doing, which can't be said for some DJs (not mentioning any names. Tiesto  )
