  1. Hi guys, as promised here's my update to the above download. My recording starts at 01:04:43 into the original recording available here, but also includes the full Leftfield set for those interested. I'm sure like me, many of you will appreciate the extended version. 2000-05-27 - Judge Jules, Live from Homelands, Winchester Leftfield Set - Track listing: 1. Dub Gussett (8:06) 2. El Cid (5:14) 3. Chant of a Poor Man (11:34) 4. Black Flute (9:46) 5. Storm 3000 (7:21) 6. Inspection (Check One) (11:25) 7. Afrika Shox (9:13) 8. Double Flash (6:22) 9. Song of Life (3:25) 10. Phat Planet (11:47)
  2. Hopefully this helps? I've been digitizing my old tape collection, I know it's only 25 minutes long but hopefully it adds some more to the missing audio. Judge Jules, Essential Selection Studio Session (25 mins)
  3. I guess it's better late that never! I finally got around to digitizing my tape collection and have a longer version of this broadcast in all it's glory I don't believe it includes any of the above tracks so an hour and a half extra Download here: 1999-08-06 - Judge Jules, Live from Bar-M Ibiza
  4. Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't this the Homelands event that Leftfield did a full set after Judge Jules? I'm just in the middle of ripping all my old tapes from the late 90's and as luck has it, I have two tapes marked Homelands 2000 Parts 1 & 2. Sadly, I didn't put the full date on my tapes but I'm guessing they're the same ones. My tapes span 3 hours in total and include the full Leftfield set. Something to get excited about perhaps? I'll put a link to it under here in a day or two.
  5. Ah thanks, it's my pleasure It's comforting to know that it's not just me and Burien on here lately, I was beginning to think everyone had given up on new/lost mixes. I can't tell you how much pleasure I've had listening to the Judge over the years as many of you will probably agree. It's certainly nice to be able to give something back to other fans. Even now my preferred listening is the Essential Selection or a Radio One Dance Party and especially since I discovered this site a few years back, there's hardly a day goes by when I'm not listening to one of these great downloads. I think I've always been a fan of the club scene, but I didn't really fully find my confidence until I was around 35, that's not to say I didn't enjoy myself. Party prescription in hand I loved nothing more than driving down to London on a Friday or Saturday night with the Judge on full volume. I loved whipping my shirt off and getting all sweaty and dancing for 5 or 6 hours solid, it was quite a workout! Mostly I visited Heaven or the Brixton Fridge with my dear mate Ady, oh how I miss those nights together and the drive home for a chillout with yet more Judge Jules. Back then I didn't have a care in the world. Sadly, as with all good things they have to come to an end sometime. Strangely though, even now these tunes can fill my eyes with tears, tears of joy and quite a bit of sadness at what I've lost, if only I could wind back the clock and do it all over again. I don't regret any of it except maybe losing my best friend. I suppose now I'm older and a bit more sensible I can now rip my tape collection at long last! Can you believe they've stood the test of time for almost 25 years unscathed?! Good old TDK I'm such a brand hag! Well keep your eyes open, I've got quite a few more to upload yet including Homelands 2000 featuring a full set by Leftfield!!! Whoo hoo
  6. Why does it say 'Submitted by Burien'? Is that referring to the track listing? Do I not get any recognition/credit for uploading?
  7. Here you go, please let me know if the recording sounds ok 1999-07-03 - Judge Jules, Live from London Mardi Gras, Finsbury Park.MP3
  8. I did check it out earlier and notice you get 10gigs free storage so that should be plenty for what I need. I'll upload the 1999 Mardi Gras first, it's only 1.5 hours long but should give you something new to listen too Keep an eye out for the download link shortly...
  9. Yes, I guessed it might be MP3 though it does seem a shame to compress them when they're such good quality. That said I could try 320kbps variable bit rate which should reduce the compression to a minimum (I think)? I'll take a look at Mediafire, is it free? I did investigate the JJA format audio but can't find any reference to that, was it a typo?
  10. @Burien Oh wow, thanks, I didn't know about that track listing, that might make it easier for me to identify some of my recordings. Probably half of them are labelled already but some I forgot to write on the tape so they're somewhat of a mystery. If someone can tell me which file format and bit rate is preferred, I can start uploading some recordings pretty soon including the one I mentioned above. I'm still struggling to find my way around these forums so any pointers as to where I can upload tracks would be useful too?
  11. I have the London Mardigras with Judge Jules Live from Finsbury Park Saturday 3rd July 1999 if that's of interest? I know it's a while back that you requested it but as fortune has it, I've dug out my Judge Jules recordings I made during the late 1990's and am now ripping them to digital format. They're lovely quality recordings, I have about 26 in total all 1.5 hours long. I guess it will take some time, but I've already done a small handful.
  12. Not sure if this has already been mentioned but this same mix is also available on YouTube but it includes 4 additional tracks at the beginning so 15 tracks in total. 01. Fragma - Toca Me (In Petto Remix) 02. Progress Pres. The Boy Wunda - Everybody 03. Agnelli & Nelson - Everyday 04. Starfighter - Apache Lovin this site BTW, I recorded many Judge Jules shows on a Friday night during the late 90's and usually before I drove to London to dance the night away at The Fridge (Brixton). I'm also pretty sure I have the full recording of this show but whether it stood the test of time I don't know, my tape decks sound a little slow and wierd now. I'll see if I can find that tape and try and upload it.
