i think it was one of those love hate remixes you either liked it or you didn't hehe but i enjoyed making it. I'm giving some of my tracks away free on soundcloud to download. Do you play out Aza? i really appreciate everybodys feedback you don't realise how much it means to me i love making music and im glad people appreciate what im doing.

i agree briggsy but the sound that's about is boring and dull there's no energy there i prefer it when trance is pitched up like +2-4 on a deck for example not played at 130-135bpm there's just no energy also i noticed from that be@.tv that the videos of trance sets compared to the old times the crowd don't seem to be up for it you don't see no bouncing no people really dancing its just like there standing around and just a few people putting there arms in the air now and again. It's like i said in another post it's not Jules fault he does what he can with whats about at the moment. There is a lot of crap records about and most djs are playing the same kinda tunes. I'm sure that when trance comes back around again Jules will be at the front of it again.

I totally agree , tunes don't sound as warm these days aswell there's too much emphasis on mastering and too much high end. A lot of producers these days concentrate on making a perfect sounding track rather than focusing on the melodies ect there doesn't seem to be many melodies in tunes these days which is what i think trance is all about making you feel electric and have the goosebumps feeling. I sent one of my tunes out the other day and was given some advice that i should slow my tunes down. I appreciate this advice but i just love the trance which is pitched up a bit more. I think the energy is lost when you play tunes around 130bpm - 135bpm it sounds too much like house music. I just don't think i could start making that style of electro trance it's just not me. It seems like the electro / house sound is dominating the charts at the moment and hence trance music that is produced these days is really heavily influenced by this. Anyway i'm going to stop going on about it now lol it's just hard when your trying to get noticed but you won't get noticed because the sound you produce isn't what's about anymore.

sometimes i wear earplugs when im listening to the bass response on my tracks makes it easy to eq the bass rather than filtering off the hi end works for me anyway

i listened , didn't realise how much electro house he plays now , i wish that more banging sound was about the pumping kicks not so much hard kicks but just banging music.

thanks for your support guys it's much appreciated , it's just so hard to get noticed these days unless your making that electro kinda trance sound lol i look to do a track every week i get 1 night a week where i stay up all night and thats the night i usually make a track from start to finish. Tim don't worry it just takes time i've been making music seriously now for about 5 years i started when i was 17 and im now 27 so it has took me a long time to get where i am at and im still learning all the time it's just a case of being creative i love the 99-2000 sound because its all about the melodys and thats what it is missing these days in my eyes and the energy is gone needs to come back hehe hopefully it will do.

hehe cool , thats what i use fruityloops , it does take patience although i work fast i usually do a tune within 4-6 hours from start to finish and mastered ect.

yeah the melody is my own , i need to add some more finishing touches to the intro of that amber sky track then ill send it out , yeah i agree i normally wouldn't touch classics but i just wanted to make it more banging i love the original don't get me wrong but just wanted to add my own touch to it so it would fit in with the style of music i play. I'm going to continue making that 99-2000 ish sound i don't care if it's gone just all about the spontaneous melodies and the energy that is missing these days. Do you guys make music?

thanks mate the lost witness remix i think is soon to be released on nebula records , im making new stuff all the time i try and keep to the energetic trance side of things more banging the better , i'm not really keen on the trance scene at the moment its too electro orientated. I'm just going to keep at what im doing i love making music and i love this board hehe , i was listening to that jules qontact mix from 2001 last night easily 1 of the best mixes he has done great energy and really uplifting. Do you make music at all?

Hi Guys , Just wondered if you wouldn't mind checking out my myspace? i'm trying to stick to the old trance sound although trying to keep a bit of originality sometimes my tunes do sound a tad outdated but i don't mind as that's the sound i love , anyway i'm uploading tunes all the time. Alot of my music i don't bother sending out to labels don't know whether that is a good thing or not but i just love making good old trance. From when i had my jules play back in 06 i'm still working hard at trying to get noticed but it is fairly hard , i've been making music for about 5 years now seriously wise the rest of the time was spent playing with programs and djing. I hope you get a chance to listen to my music and i appreciate it , I'm constantly downloading old jules sets hehe can't help it.
