  1. Do you have any examples of these "risky" mixes you refer to? I've never thought about his mixes in this way so would be good to hear what you mean? As for crossing between genders though, the one that sticks in my mind is this: Saturday, 26 May 2001, 5:00pm - 7:00pm Live from Homelands 01. The Goodfellas - 'Soul Heaven' (Dave Clarke Mix) [Azuli] 02. Trisco - 'Musak' (Original Mix) [Positiva] 03. Joy Kitikonti - 'Joyenergizer' (Psico Mix) [bXR] 04. Rockafellas - 'I Get Ready' (Paul Hutsch Mix) [Drop Out] 05. Members Of Mayday - '10 In 01' [Deviant] 06. Hi-Gate - 'Caned & Unable' [incentive] 07. Static Revenger - 'Happy People' (Chocolate Puma Mix) [incentive/Azuli] 08. The Green Martian - 'Industry' [bonzai] 09. Cygnus X - 'Superstring' (Rank One Mix) [white label] 10. Angelic - 'Stay With Me' (Homelands Mix) [serious] 11. Kosheen - 'Hide U' (J Creamer & Stephane K Mix) [Moshka] Absolutely seamless and the added voice over of "Blistering beats in the mix..." just as the fader gets all the way into Industry sounded first class!
  2. I think they only keep the links active for a week. It's a real shame, I'm sure I've heard it on a Pete Tong show before but can't remember when, could've been a month or 12 months ago.....? It's gonna bug me now for ages!!!
  3. Hi All, can anyone help with IDing the tune playing around 15mins 30s in series 5 episode 30 of Masterchef? Link to the whole episode is here (sorry, i'm unable to take a clip of just the bit I want): http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00hz...es_5_Episode_30 I must say they play some good tunes on Masterchef for a cookery programme, I wonder who's responsible for choosing them? Many thanks, Ross
  4. Ditto for me on that one. This was the only recording featuing CDM at the time so I bought the Annual and that's what got me started on Jules etc. I've always preferred the Boy George disc slightly more, the spinback when mixing into Greece 2000 is pure class!
  5. Does anyone have a copy of this set they can upload. I seem to remember it being a very decent show....
  6. This is a stonking mix IMO. Jules shows great versatility in tailoring this to a harder sound throughout. It's when I hear sets like this that I realise why I can't help but like his stuff. I'm listening to this as I type and although not yet half way through, the mixing is spot on so far.
  7. Silly me, I wasn't reading this properly. I've only got the bit that's up there already. Slap me round the head with a wet fish!
  8. I have it digitally so will attempt to upload it. Are there any instructions on how to upload? PS Tim, I haven't forgotten about the tapes I'm gonna send you.
  9. Hi All, I've been looking at this board for the best part of 2 years although only just got round to registering. My main reason for this is I used to download old Jules mixes but the new system means I've now had to register to continue to do so. I feel it's time I offered something back but don't know if anyone can help me with my idea....? I have quite a few old Jules tapes featuring mainly festival & Ibiza broadcasts which I've not found on here before (I hoped I've looked hard enough!). Would anyone be prepared to convert these to mp3 and upload them into the download section? All I ask in return is a CD copy of the files, the tapes would be yours to keep, and the mixes available for all to enjoy. Any thoughts? cheers, Ross
  10. excellent stuff. Quite a few tracks that I don't remember Jules playing very often, especially Fubar's Love Parade, which despite Fubar claiming Jules gave massive support to, is the only time I've heard him play it on the radio.
