Cheers, Nick.
  6. Cheers Matt, much apprecaited dude. A know u talked me through it but it wasn't happening for me when I attempted it earlier....think I've grasped it now. Cheers Nick.
  7. I have been trying to mate, but I can't get my head round as of how to do it correctly. Not very good with html code I'm afraid. If anyone has a heads up on the method then it would be much appreciated. Cheers, Nick.

  10. I really like the original of this track also....the bassline makes it for me. But Will IMO has done a really good job on making a tech-trance take on it & I'll definately be supporting it. Mark Sherry has been given Will's remix big support and you can hear it on this clip (First track on the mix). http://www.marksherry.co.uk/mark/mark_sherry_atomik_weekender_2_goodgreef_stage_nov_2009.mp3 Judge for yourself.
  11. Really like this mix mate, rite down my street at the moment.....good effort.
  12. Good effort on the mix mate. Missed this one due to a stag do (best man duties)....skunnered. Wish I was there, everyone involved has said to me it was the best nite at Insideout in a long time. A heard all the DJ's involved gave 100% in their sets which is good to hear. Thought I would fire up Bryans set from the nite aswell, as it's a blinder....solid from start to finish....check it ooot. The intro is a really nice touch & a clever tribute to Barry. Mojado - Kaktus (Joint Operations Centre Remix / Bryan Kearney's Kaktaub Tribute Intro) The Prodigy - Charly (Joint Operations Centre Remix) The Crosh - Salsa Master (Peppelino Remix) Mark Broom - Things Robin S - Show Me Love (Bryan Kearney's Unrequited Treatment) Frank Biazzi - Turbulance Underworld - Born Slippy (Unknown Rework) Joy Kitikonti - JoyEnergizer (Psico Mix) Barry Connell - Frizzbomb (Original Remaster) The Doppler Effect - Beauty Hides In The Deep (John O'Callaghan Remix) Marco V - Indicator Laurent Garnier - Man With The Red Face (Kearney & Connell's Ressential Mix) Tiesto - Suburban Train Bryan Kearney - You Will Never Be Forgotten (Original Mix) Tony De Vit - The Dawn (Bryan Kearney Remix) http://www.megaupload.com/?d=4JUQ4UFS Cheers, Nick.
  13. I'm getting the impression that this release from Jules has had its mixed opinions. I'm not keen on 'Master breaker' atall....I don't think it really goes anywhere, but 'Judgement theme' has grown on me while working with it for the past few months. I know Jules put alot of effort into this track, so I hope it does well for him. It's a shame to have seen this release been leaked on its promo mailout before its exclusive release on Beatport on the 8th Dec.....nonetheless, I would be interested on hearing what you do to 'Judgement theme' as a bootleg when it is finished, keep me posted....cheers Tim. Cheers, Nick.
  14. Just a heads up for anyone who is interested, I have just had news from the A&R at Maelstrom records that 'Judge jules - 'Judgement theme' and 'Master breaker' including mixes...... will be due for release on the 8th of December. Cheers, Nick.
  15. Not sure on a release date of 'Judgement theme' as of yet. Myself & Will atkinson have just finished a remix of the track so any information I get on it, I'll be sure to keep ye's posted. I do know that Jules's forthcoming album 'Bring the noise' which will feature 'Judgement theme' will be released on Maelstrom at the end of January 2009 if that helps.
  16. Thats rite mate, the three of us strung it together. Lukeh originally made a bootleg with 'Cartel - Moments' with another track over the top & Will added a bassline & breakdown to it. After being sent the bootleg I thought 'V3 - Zuluu' would work over it quite well so I decided to give it ago.
  17. Good effort on this, I enjoyed it. The only thing that puts me off supporting this is the Bit rate. 'Bulgarian' fits well, it adds a nice trancey alternative to 'Direct dizko'. Good luck with it......keep it up mate. Cheers Nick.
  18. A could go on for quite a bit on some of your comments there Briggsy, coz a feel the majority of the things you have spouted out with is alot of pish, but to be honest a can't be arsed furthering more debate! Lets face it, we all have better things to do with our time. A stand by my initial statement towards you, I felt it had to be said. You clearly feel as if you have justified yourself, good for you matey! Your obviously sticking by your words so lets just agree to disagree or we'll be here till the end of the month. Its already looking like a script from a Jerry springer show so lets just leave it at that & draw the line. Jeremy Kyle would be licking his lips if he read this. For the record a came across this board on my own with no help from Ken. The line has been drawn: ________________________________________________________________________________
  19. A hate gettin' involved in online rants, a tend not get involved but Briggsy mate, a can't let this one swim by.....this comment about Ken is a bit rich comin' from you. A think u have had a fair brass neck on ye to comment about him to be honest. A can understand some folk bein' annoyed over Ken's vague description of Chaz's bootleg, as the comment did merit an explanation, which Ken has now apoligized for....fair enough. But as Ken points out, you are constantly guilty of the exact same thing on a regular basis with no evidence of any apologies, so why comment on Ken's wrong doin'?? As the lad Simon ross quite rightly says; "to hop in and leave such a blunt and vague statement is not even attempting to offer support to those who appreciate it the most." I agree with the above comment, a find it ignorant to just drop in a vague/harsh statement about a track without a decent explanation, its pure arrogance. Although you seem to agree with this aswell, goin' by your above comment, is this not what you do quite alot of the time? Dropping one word adjectives, vague descriptions to describe tunes you dislike without elaborating & justifying your statement when there are folk on the board who may appreciate the same track which you have just knocked? One example that springs to mind is a wee discussion me & you had a while pack about Jule's 'Best of 2007 show' when you said; 'Briggsy' Dec 23 2007, 12:35 AM "half of those are average at the most." A didn't see any, as you say; 'Explanation as to why' half of the tunes were 'average'. A had to get it out of ye first off...a shouldn't need to do that. Comments like that merit an explanation to justify your view. A only had to go to a few other previous posts to find some other belters from yourself mate; 'Briggsy' Jun 9 2008, 12:22 AM "Another one that was dire was by Digital Deviant (who churns out tones of crap bootlegs)" 'Briggsy' Jun 3 2008, 09:42 PM "Digital Deviant - he/she has churned out a large percentage of those other ghastly bootlegs that Jules has played." 'Briggsy' May 30 2008, 11:08 PM "What a crap remix" If I were to show Tommie aka 'Digital deviant' your plain to see; harsh/vague comments about his material I'm sure he would like you to elaborate on your views. That is just one fine example of you too, coming across quite arrogant & vague in your opinions about tracks where other folk on the board may like the tracks themselves. Although your entitled to your opinion, I get the impression your on your 'high horse' so to speak when commenting on certain tracks...all it takes is a justified explanation & some tact....a bit of respect to the artist. You are a complete hypocrit to comment on Ken, a get the impression that ye have double standards when it comes to certain topics. As shown above you are also guilty of attacking artists, so a think ye should take yer comment back about Ken to be fair....bang out comin' from you matey! LoL, ye also say; "think most most 'bootleggers' are guilty of producing a pointless bootleg - and to be honest, K.Sheehan is no different (Tick Mode for example)." A just seen a topic which u created from a while back when Jules was supporting 'Tick mode'....u were commenting on how much you liked it????? Whats that all about....can't be that 'pointless' then; 'Briggsy' Jun 11 2006, 11:11 AM "Really liking this bootleg! Quite driving with a lot of energy- it adds a bit of beef to the "Aquarius" tune - a bit like AJS's - Fancy Island - it just adds a bit more spice. Anyone else liking this?" A take onboard that views change on tracks, you can get sick of certain tunes through time, but still it couldn't of been that 'pointless' if there was once a time that you 'Really' liked this one. Atleast you left a decent explanation on that one though mate. You also say on the note of 'Tick mode'; 'Briggsy' Jun 11 2006, 06:54 PM "Personally, I like it and think it works well, and Jules is supporting it, so it can't be that bad." You are now slating Jules for playing 'pointless' bootlegs, when there was a time that u were guilty of really liking as you describe a 'pointless' bootleg in the relation to 'Tick mode'. Ken has admitted bein' in the wrong so a think the least you can do is take back your comment towards him instead of trying to justify yourself which a have no doubt ye'll probably try & do. As I've mentioned to you before a feel you need to think before ye spout out some of the stuff you post on here! A have completely scrutinised your comments but its only because its more than you deserve with your own dodgy one word descriptions of tunes that you happen to dislike. Am sorry to bring all this s*** up, but a can't go folk with double standards & you get away with it far too much....ye've jumped the band wagon on Ken's comment when ye had no right to do so.
  20. Ach well, we all have our seperate opinions. A thought it deserved a release myself. A did prefare the 'Abel ramos' bootleg to it though.
  21. A totally agree with you there mate, thats the reason I still throw the odd one together from time to time, its always good to keep your sets fresh & unique, bootlegs are a good way of doin' so. So many DJ's are playing the same tunes these days, so to have your own take on popular tracks at the time is always a bonus. A got a copy of this 'Violet hill' bootleg aswell. I happen to think its quite good, but we all have our opinions I suppose. The Keys on the Coldplay track fit the PADs of Sanders breaks perfectly which helps it blend in nicely. The vocal over the drums doesn't work well in my opinion (I'll be editing that part right away), apart from that a think it's cleverly done. I heard Jules play it at Coloursfest at the weekend & it went down a storm. I think it is the type of bootleg that works well on big sound systems. A think the same goes for that 'White stripes vs. Plastic dreams' mashup Jules made; Listening to that on monitors at home didn't sound great & I didn't think it worked atall, but after hearing him play it at Coloursfest, I found myself boppen away to it, so I eat my words. It might not be the prettiest bootleg to listen to, but at the end of the day it got a good reaction with the crowd & went down well on the outdoor stage, as to did the 'Fratellis' mashup. Not everyone who goes to clubs etc. to see the big DJ's are as intouch with the music as some of of us so sometimes playing a familiar track that everyone can relate to goes along way in a set & so bootlegs are a good way of maken this happen. Am sure Ken sheehan & Will atkinson would agree with me as they were boppen away to it aswell on Saturday, if they would admit that or not is another matter, lol. As for the 'Samba69' tune, in my opinion I thought that was good. Fair play to Kimmo for releasing that. His bootleg of 'Abel ramos's' track got massive support so why not make it his own & take some credit for it.
  22. I'm a Celtic fan so obviously the last place I would of wanted to be was Mancester on Wednesday past. I was extatic about the result mind you, best team won if you ask me. I have a good few mates who were down in Manchester, including my uncle who took my wee cousin of 9 down with him. They have told me two sides of the story so to speak; My uncle & his boy were at 'Cathedral square' where I think one of the big screens crashed. He had said to me that he was embarassed to call himself a Rangers fan at the point of the big screen breaking down & thereon after. He had witnessed drunken arseholes knocking over children & throwing glass bottles at the engineers trying to fix the screen. He had also witnessed a big group attacking fellow fans due to the frustration of them missing the game. Apparently ma wee cousin was petrified....not a childhood memory you want to remember! The hurry of everyone trying to find an alternative spot to watch the game caused even more fighting & then caused the police to step in (This is only what I was told). They ended up missing the first 20minutes & had to watch it back in the hotel. Another group of mates were trying to find somewhere to watch it quickly (the game had already started), they were all gettin' anxious due to the rioting a few streets behind them. The police were kitted out with their bats & shields etc. so they knew not to hang about. They had heard the 'Velodrome' had a bigscreen so my mate Scott asked a police officer for directions to the 'Velodrome'....the officer began to give him directions whilst another officer in riot gear came from behind the initial officer only to rattle his bat off ma mate Scotts fat arse, lol! They then started ordering them to leave the city & go home, lol. They quickly left the scene whilst other officers charged at them a few streets on. Ma mates had witnessed loads of folk including women getting attacked off the police for no justifyable reason apart from to get them off the streets. Yeah, get them away from the streets where it is all kicking off but do it with a bit of tact, don't bat them down the streets as if there a tennis ball! Although a couldn't stop laughen a couldn't help feelin' a little bit sorry for them.....just a little bit though, lol. A think a small group of arseholes basically rouined it for the majority trying to have a good time on the streets....which is a real shame. Settin'about the police is madness, they animals have gave the Rangers support a bad name not to mention Scottish football as a whole. The reality is, most teams around the world have their fair-share of arseholes in their support....thats football for you! It looks like they have rouined it for the Man Utd fans aswell who won't be aloud to have their fun out on the streets now. I think its a 'Catch 22' situation though because; On the other hand, it seems the police & the Manchester council were a bit naiive. A don't think they really anticipated the amount of fans that would be travelling into the city. Although the police probably had to act swiftly & firmly...hitten' innocent folk with bats when they could just as easily open there mouths & asked them to 'Leave' is out of order! Think ma mates arse is black & blue, he was standing for most of the journey home on the bus, lol. R.I.P. Tommy Burns.
  23. This has come as a complete shock to everyone. Barry had passed away, peacfully in his sleep. Barry was a top guy & had an amazing talent for using his ability to fire up a crowd. I have had the plaesure on sharing some good laughs with him within the duration we have known eachother & he will be sorely missed by all his mates. The fact that this has happened just when his whole DJ'ing career seemed to be going from strength to strength & when he had arranged to get married in Florida later in the year is just a complete tragedy.....Gutted. My heart goes out to Amanda his fiancee and Barry's family at this horrible time. 'A true Arches Legend' R.I.P. matey. xxx
