I stumbled across some of my old DJ mix tapes recently & so for old time's sake, I've started to convert them over to digital format so that the memories of these great tracks can be re-lived! Bonzai is quite possibly my favourite label of all time due to their early 2000s stuff - I remember a point around 2002 where my current record box at the time was literally stacked full of Bonzai tunes or remixes from Bonzai related artists (Green Martian, Airwave, Push, etc). The quality & consistency were absolutely second to none with every single release back then... Great times For me, the label was never quite the same after it's return from going bust in 2003. There were still a handful of tunes from the label that I bought after that but nowhere near as many as before. Moving further on, I don't think I've bought a Bonzai tune since about 2006? Not really feeling their more recent stuff

Thanks for checking the mixes out Quadders :thumbsup: The tune is a mashup I put together using Ed Sheeran - The A Team along with Gravity - Red Light, Green Light (Adam Nickey Remix). Not normally a huge fan of Ed Sheeran but this one seemed to fit so well with the Gravity track that I just had to do it! It also had a play from Jules on R1 a couple of weeks ago

Jules' set was from 8pm-10pm... I enjoyed his set overall but like I say, R1 definately picked the wrong hour of his set to broadcast!

I definately enjoyed the first hour more when I was there - as Chrissie says, I felt the second hour was too similar to his Ibiza mix on R1... The unknown tune is Lee Osborne - Questions [High Contrast Nu Breed] :thumbsup:

I saw Jules play at Creamfields last Saturday & his set was 2 hours long in total (this being the second hour). I was hoping R1 would have broadcasted the first hour of his set as it was much better imo. Loads of excellent newer tunes from last week's show, etc... Would have liked to relive that one but hey ho... :whistling:

I've gotta say I'm quite disappointed with Eddie's tune to be honest... Not the sort of style I expected from him & to me it just sounds like a carbon copy of Arno Cost - Lise. I've also heard another tune on the EP which sounded exactly the same as Eric Prydz - Niton. I must admit I was expecting something pretty special considering they were Eddie's debut set of tunes but sadly neither of them do anything for me
