I'm sorry to say I had to turn off after half an hour. Many on here will say this was to be expected ... but imo it was truly awful. :wall: Does anybody know, is this what he plays at Judgement Fridays? I have to agree brother, I turned it off after 15 minutes, just not my music taste either.

I hope so also, I dont even want to hear them "somebody scream" jingles!

Why does that not surprise me that Radio 1 has removed the track-listings? I used to regularly listen to Tong back between around 2002 - 2006 period. Remember when Lottie used to sit in on occasions for Tong, she played typically very housey tunes, as did Tong a;lot back then.

I would be interested to hear the new Angelic track, to see which direction musically they take especially with the banal trance sounding tracks these days!

Ahhh I had exactly the same problem!! My mates just wanted to get wasted at the pub instead (which we used to do every weekend anyway). Its a shame as the current scene is nothing like what it used to be, most DJ's now incorporate the same sounding electro shite to their sets.

I agree about the classics, he may be too lazy to select a few himself. I would like hear "Conductor and the Cowboy -Feeling This Way". Hopefully he can surprise us. To be honest I havent really listened to Jules since 2005, so not really know what to expect!

To be honest Radio 1 has been out of touch with regard to music the last few years. Although Tong is still worth a listen.

Out of interest Neuro, has Jules ever made contact regarding the sharing of music audio on the forum? Or has he ever give his approval or disapproval? This is something that I have always thought about. I am sure Jules understands that we are just reliving and sharing classic Jules moments/memories.

If you want a good classic Jules, then listen to Homelands, Ireland 1999 from the audio archives.

Thanks for the memories...Out of interest what ever happened to Paul Masterson? He seemed to just disappear after him and Jules stopped producing together around 2003. The last I can recall from them was "VPL - 'It's Showtime'" Although around 2005 I think Paul released "Subway - Pulling for Two".

1998-2005 period for me was the best....I remember being at Homelands Ireland 1999 and Jules was absolutely on fire!
