  1. Hi Bellos and welcome all new people. f***ing Deja-vu maaaaaaaaaaaaan!!
  2. Awwwwww hello there, nice of you to join us. Look forward to hearing any tapes you may bring to the table.
  3. It is a cobbled lane. The other end was closed off especially for this. Normally you can walk through. The roof (marquee style top) was literally above the dj and lights, and not the whole way along. That's my own video from the cobbles, dunno why it won't post like other YouTube vids. Hey ho?
  4. Looks good. Might have to check out the prices, would need ppl to hang out with as I'd prob come on my own.
  5. I have to say his "house" set was again better than this "trance" set. After the absolute tunes that Ali, Claudia and Orjan had just been playing, this trance set was just unstructured and very cheesy. But the atmosphere was good out there. The so-called house set, was not actually House either. But it was good.
  6. Lovely Chrissie, love the videos. We must do it all again sometime. My clubbing love has been rekindled!
  7. Had an absolute pain in the arse trying to get my videos up so make do with what happened there, resorted to youtube and still cant get a nice link to it.
  8. Well I know in the past I said I would no longer pay or travel to see Jules again, as his sets had become perpetually disappointing. So when I saw that Judgements was coming to a town near me I had to attend. Also I saw that Chrissie Brown was going too, and that sealed it for me, as I'm always up for meeting board members if I can. Despite all the pre-planning for this going very wrong, right up to missing the train station I should have got off at, and having to pay for a taxi there, and then the guestlist f*** up that meant I had to pay £20 to get in aswell (which I could have disputed but the bouncer looked very pissed off, so I just agreed and paid) also my lift home had backed out last minute too. Well, as I say, despite ALL of that I got in there just after 10pm and it was already in full swing in the cobbled alleyway, usually pedestrianised area outside the actual club. Ali Wilson b2b with Lee Osbourne, the crowd was well up for it, the set up of the street part was very good, the lighting was BOSS for an alleyway, and I have to say that although I gave up smoking I do think that the smoking ban has affected clubbing atmospheres and as it was a street party here, the crowd were all able to dance and smoke and mingle with eachother instead of half of them being seperated and the dancefloor half empty. I did have to wash everything when I got home though, stale fag smell EVERYWHERE!! That was ok though as I had had to disinfect my feet and shoes as someones vomit had splashed up my ankles from the cobbles as he ran past me trying to hold it in. :ill: So, TUNES were good, and then Claudia Cazacau was up and even more banging trance and I was impressed, a remix of Luvstruck thrown in, not as good as the original but I imagine if I wasn't an old hand it would be just as amazing. Had my earplugs in and the sounds were tremendous. I popped to the loo, and the speaker outside the toilet shook every part of my body, parts I didn't even realise could move, I'm talking internal organs, the lot. My hair vibrated. Jules was on inside the club, when I came out the loo, and the loos weren't that disgusting, and extra portaloos were provided outside too, which also were clean, totes tremendous. I stayed for Jules' ("house") set, and he rocked the place, it was rammed and it was warm and it was cosy, everybody was dancing, there were people of every age there, older than me and younger than me and in equal measures I'd say. Alot of the youngsters were on MDMA but so what, it meant the queue for the bar was non-exsistent, and I have always said I'd rather be in a room full of people on E than a room full of drunks. And I was. About ten minutes in I heard that fateful sound of " SOMEBODY MAKE SOME f****** NOISE " and rolled my eyes as I had forgotten about them until them, but.......but he only played two jingles in the set, and the set was great, I believe leaving radio one and Tristan being abroad now has done Jules' DJing the world of good, if Saturday night is a true reflection of how it is now. Because also when he then went on to play after Orjan Nilson outside I still only heard a further two, maybe three jingles, he was very animated behind the decks, the mixing was good, nothing too impressive, bit of looping and arsing about but if he hadn't it wouldn't have been Julesy. As I danced I watched a lad run straight into a glass door in front of me, which was pretty funny, but I think it must have really hurt. Poor lad. My friend got him some help after we realised he couldn't see or walk. LOL :wall: Doubt he remembers why his nose is broken now. Well sadly the thought of not being able to get home had kicked in, in my youth I would have hung aroung til 7am for the early train, but was fifty quid down from getting there and in, and decided to text my other half with a pleading text to collect me when Jules' set had finished. And he did. Coz he's a good boy really. Can't comment on any further DJ sets after 2.30 plus those of you that know me, know I have a ongoing feet injuries that are in recovery and I also have tinnitus so going early didn't worry me, but I ended on a high as I can honestly say my faith in Julesy has been restored to its former glory. I still probably wouldn't go far to see him, but if he comes local again, I'll definitely be in the queue. Preferably the free one. :whistling: I still love dancing to loud music with likeminded people. If any admin know how to turn that pic the right way round please do. LOL
  9. It didn't need "breaking" anywhere at anytime. Especially not by that twat!! You know if he'd just said sorry, he used it but thought his legal team had covered any issues, I'd have more respect for him. But he acts like a spoiled moronic child instead.
  10. "Music community" "for the sake of the art" "it's not my fault he never mentioned the other guy"
  11. Gotta show this, it's Will.I.Am's response to the accusation. Which to me suggests I was right with my previous reply on this thread. However, I meant that in sarcasm and now it's just fact.
  12. Maybe Will thinks he asked for it, but really he just thought about asking for it. Or maybe he is so rich it really doesn't matter too much to him if he had no permission coz a percentage of the royalties to Mat Zo and Arty won't affect his weekly food shopping anyway. So maybe if someone rips off the infamous unknown-unknown we'll get to the bottom of that, whilst also getting rich off the back of it.
  13. I'm looking forward to seeing you again Chrissie.
  14. They must know theyre bad! It must be part of the joke for them.
  15. May the 4th be with you? Anyone from the board gonna be going to this?
  16. I heard him out, his set was pretty good, his personality not so, not for me. Though I may be guilty of pre-judging him a bit. I just find him a bit sly, and not to have done any real good for Jules.
  17. Well I don't think they do. In fact I think Tristan has left the country.
  18. I notice he isn't flavour of the month anymore in the O'Riordan household. I wondered does anyone here know why? And I also and mostly wondered if Jules has reclaimed any cred since leaving radio 1 and ditching the D-boy filter? Your views?
