  1. This has been shared on Jules' Facebook Group. And I wanted to bring it up on here too. It's a mixcloud link so not sure if anyone is any good at sourcing the original audio from it to archive. But it's the show that lasts an hour then gets cut off with some chillout obit songs due to Queen Mother dying.

  4. I'm gonna bump this up because it's astonishing! Just out of this world.
  5. The file was under 128MB and still wouldn't have any of it.
  6. I've often wanted to do this to obtain some old Mark & Lard stuff, not sure what is kept and what isn't. Maybe special ones with guests or ones at times of big world events (9/11) may be on file. Might have more chance with Jules as it's a specialist show. Gaining access is really difficult though.
  7. I've found an old minidisc of Jules' Radio 1 Ibiza show from 2003, which I'm now saving down in audition and will be uploading. I also have the one from 2002 but only a bit of it. I recorded a lot in 2004/5/6 and may have some to throw on, but will upload elsewhere as my interwebs is slow on the upload at home.
  8. I'm 28 this year, and anything post 2009 just isn't up to scratch. I'd of rather been a clubber back in the early 00s, but I was too young then. On the outside looking in sort of thing.
  9. I've got my own recording of this as I stayed up and nabbed it from digital radio at the time. I remember sitting on my PC listening through my headphones and that Marcel Woods track was on, incredible.
  10. I wish I was. That essential mix is one of the greatest mixes of all time in my eyes.
  11. Fantastic! Will get this on the download, thanks Jules. Great to see Airwave - Save Me got in there
  12. Yeah it was, I bought it on plastic. It's this: http://www.discogs.com/Unknown-Artist-Delignum-Its-My-Dooty-To-Please-That-Booty-Vol-1/release/1328864
  13. When you post once, you can download the mixes.
  14. The donation is under my Dad's name 'Glyn'. There was no option to change it to mine on the page, although it's out of my bank... Anyway my selected track is: The Skip Raiders Feat. Jada - Another Day (Perfecto Remix) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8A_2RBEh6IE Some may say it has been overplayed/commercial compared to some choices. But it came from 1999, which many regard as the best year for trance. And it still took me away when I heard it replayed on Radio 1's Essential Mix that Oakenfold did in 1999, coming back home the other night. My final choice.
  15. Just had a skip through this, will listen in full soon. Seems like it went down well! Jules doing what he does best.
  16. Someone posted these up today, whom I'm subscribed to on Mixcloud. Don't think they are on here so I thought I'd share. There's obviously no download on mixcloud, but you can stream. 17. I recall the BBC listing some of their archived shows in an experimental website called BBC Infax, but that closed at some point in 2008. No audio, but interesting to read the write ups. The BBC keep most of the shows archived away as far as I'm aware. I think especially for important things like big events such as 9/11 or other world events, or the stuff from the big weekends etc. I remember someone mentioning on another forum long ago that they kept every Chris Moyles show from 1997 when he started to that date of the post, he discovered this when browsing the internal BBC intranet whilst working for BBC local radio. They might do the same for Jules, but they will never see the light of day anyway.
