JasonB
I'll start the first cd off then, after much deliberation my concrete tracks to kick things off are: Pako & Federik- 45 Minutes (Pako & Federik Remix)(GU Music) Electric Tease-Limbo (Metta & JT Loves' Remix) (Automatic) Blackwatch & Quiver- Loveless (Original Mix) (Blackwatch & Quivver) who wants to take it from there? thirddrive
Hmm I guess i'm on the more uplifting trance CD really. Although what to include? I was thinking (still to narrow down exact tracks): Corderoy - 'Drifting' Coldplay - 'Speed of Sound (Karl G Remix)' Firewall - 'Sincere (Smith And Pledger Remix)' Mudblood - 'Flaming June' Armin vs Tiesto Feat Ferry Corsten - 'Sweet Traffic' The Traveller and In Motion - 'Believe' maybe we could do a classics Cd too? I guess doing it in groups is a far easier way to manage it and we also get more time to add in tracks deep from our collections hehe
bigsteve
I have no chuffing idea what I'll play. I'll wait and see whats before me, then decide from there. Can play proggy trance, or peak-time-down-the-front-'aving-it-trance Not too fussed, but I WILL NOT PLAY FUNKY HOUSE. Just to reiterate, I will NOT play funky stuff

Aza
I'd say lets first get everyone. Count the number of heads etc. Make a deadline (without being rude like if you know what I mean). I think it would be better for me to go first aswell as I am not exactly up to date with the latest trancers etc. So I could set the tempo etc then let you guys biuld it up and have all the glory! I will rummage throught my tunes etc and see what I can dig out? (Bjorn cheers for your PM - I will reply when I get chance! Trail cheers for your text - I will act imminently!) FuzzY-LogiC
im very much up for it aswell, if its not too late? Been sick the last 3 days, so didn't notice the thread before now. Got TT's & final scratch2 (so it actually works as CD decks aswell Id like to play some trancy stuff, could go techy, proggy, melodic or uplifting... i like it all so i guess i'll just see what the dj before me plays & i'll take up from there... im not really into the tunes at the time, but with a bit of luck i'll manage, or i'll just drop a few of the good old gone, (but not forgotten) tunes Cheers! thirddrive
I think having a mixture of the classics as well as more recent stuff will add an extra dimension to the CD. And we know that Aza can create an excellent mood for the start of the compilation from his own work
bigsteve
Vary good point about Aza. Deffo let him have first stab - it will also set a high quality for us all to follow 8)

Spin Doctor
If everyone doing one mix is too inpractical, how about a mix CD secret santa? Everyone does a mix sends it in (probably to Tim, ha ha - though I wouldn't mind organising it) and you get a random one back? That way everyone who does a mix gets a different mix back.
