Neuro
Just in case anybody was thinking of an mp3 purchase or two in the day or so. This offer does not apply to lossless purchases (i.e. WAV or AIFF) but still a good deal.

That's a shame, I wonder why? I only ever go lossy if I absoutley have to.

With disk space not an issue these days I opt for WAVs but then convert them into FLACs so I can at least associate some ID3 tags / artwork to them. Spin Doctor
Interesting. I haven't considered transcoding to FLAC. I rename all my downloads and put them on a RAID NAS. I import them to iTunes and convert that file to apple lossless for general listening. The wavs are also copied to an External HDD and imported into Traktor. I am probably going to start burning CDs again though with vinyl rips and downloads with inconsistent bpms.
