Armin used Ableton live to edit those tracks and then just use small samples of each tune or accapella them for the year mix concept. JasonB Posted June 5, 2006 Report Share Posted June 5, 2006 Saw Greg a few years ago, played a wicked mix of breaks, hard house, trance, techno and some classics, all vinyl, although he did try to play a cd and the crappvestax double cd jobby wouldnt play it after he'd cued it up, lol talking to Greg briefly after his set he called them 'f'ing s***' (If I remember rightly!). Choonage wise, havent heard Vivid Intent, he's done a collab track too which I havent heard either, I do love Shaker though (B side to Cude Recall) although Cued Recall and KIA are also stromers, the Marc Van Lidne Mix of KIA's is ok but nowt on the original. Really nice to hear Eddie hammering out a lot more trancey stuff, though it does go more techno flavoured at the end. Both cracking, the mixing is limited (unlike fire it up), but I have actually found my self listening to cd 1 more. Seems a perfect flow of tunes and amazing mixing nonetheless. Some very good tracks though im not quite sure why 'Linking People' is on it being quite old now and when through your eyes is on as well which I think is much better. It is easier for the likes of Jules & Eddie as they receive upfront stuff all the time. Max Kane Posted June 29, 2006 Report Share Posted June 29, 2006 I'll usually play an older record now & again and maybe have one or two per set but the criticism that has been levelled at Eddie is that he plays too many of them, and i'm not talking classics, just records from 3 months or so ago.
