After the massive success of Radio 1's Decade in Ibiza celebrations last year we've extended our traditional Ibiza Weekend to an Ibiza Week.

From Sunday 6 August until Sunday 13 August we'll be live from the island with shows and live mixes from across Ibiza's club land. We'll be back at some of our old haunts and bringing you some new ones.

Every night from 01.00 until 03.00 we'll have a live mix. On Thursday Zane Lowe will be at Ibiza Rocks. Then at the weekend Pete Tong, Judge Jules and Dave Pearce will be live. Vernon Kay, Colin Murray and Edith Bowman will also be out there.

Don't worry if you cannot listen to it all on Radio 1. We'll have the whole lot available to listen to online for seven days after broadcast.

Here's the full rundown:

Sunday 6 August

01.00-03.00 - Judge Jules from Judgement Sundays at Eden

Monday 7 August

01.00-03.00 - Andre Galluzzi & Sven Vath from Cocoon at Amnesia

Unfortunately, due to Jules playing live from his own event in Ibiza, Radio 1 have had to bite their tongue and accept that Jules will actually be playing the style of music that he's famous for, and won't be playing the music that we want him to play - So it is with deep regret that we have to announce that Jules's show won't be featuring any Funky House fairyness for the first hour, and the Cut Up Cut will also be missing. We also accept that this is very bad scheduling by Radio 1 because all of the dance shows are grouped together rather than being sandwiched by urban shows. It is Radio 1's policy to sandwich the good dance shows between RnB shows in order to keep the chavs and wanna-be gangsters happy.

Due to this bad news announcement, Radio 1 would like to make it up to anyone not happy with this Ibiza schedule by offering you free guestlist tickets. All you have to do to win the tickets is answer the following question:

Which city is Turnmills in?

Please text your answer to 81800, but if you don't recieve a reply, then chances are one of Tim Westwoods guests has stolen our text machine to sell on Ebay to fund their "blingwear" addiction.

Thank you for your understanding. We hope to continue our normal policy of not playing what our listeners want to hear as soon as possible.

R. Sole (Head of Radio 1's scheduling balls-ups)
