I was down in Cornwall with the family to watch the solar eclipse if memory serves and Radio 1 rolled into St Ives. The Roadshow was entertaining enough, even though Simon Mayo was a bit of a tit.. but the real high point of the day for me(well.. night) was the Dance Party later in the evening.. Dave Pearce, Jules and Sasha.. Being 14 back then it was really the first 'proper' night I'd been to and was made even better being in the open air on a warm evening..
