attilasumer Posted May 14, 2007 Author Report Share Posted May 14, 2007 Oh yeah that too - tho sometimes the less promoted comps are a bugger to find over here, I had to order the last Ferry Passport from Holland as well as the recent Trance Energy one. Worth it tho! Heaven Scent is also on the next eddie Halliwell Cream CD out on the 18th of June but couldn't find a full TL for that, only a short one with the usual tracks he's been playing on radio 1 recently....still be good tho, quite liked the mix of styles on last years one. Max Kane Posted May 14, 2007 Report Share Posted May 14, 2007 Surprised that Bedrock are letting compilations license the new mix of 'Heaven Scent' the Ferry CD looks good but most of the tunage there has been around for a bit, I like Armin's compilations because generally he goes out to get new tracks for them. This is so annoying in music, its like when you know a particular tune/riff/melody or what have you & cant put a name to it! Tim will also know my life long quest for a tune Jules played a while back... I'm really annoyed because the only shop I saw it in was Juno - but I hadn't been paid so couldn't buy it. Two days later, i got paid, and it had sold. I suspect they only had one or two copies - and i've never seen it anywhere since. Sooo frustrating. Briggsy Posted May 19, 2007 Report Share Posted May 19, 2007 I think it looks much better than last year to be honest. CD 1 was rather dull last year, and CD had a few poor tracks in there. Both CD's look a lot stronger this year. The only suspect tracks are Samba 69 (shockingly awful tune!), Session Impossible (Randy Katana's weakest track for a few years), and Diversion (Dale Corderoy Mix). However, the set construction looks a lot more random than last years. CD 2 worked quite well last year, but this year, it looks a bit "slapped together".
