Neuro
I don't wish to embarrass people intentionally (being English  ), but i feel strangely compelled to bring your attention to the profile of the following individual who slated DJ Tiesto's "Nyana" a couple of years ago: http://www.discogs.com/user/DJ_Alex_Torsell If you read it all, you'll just cringe. Absolutely bizarre :?
Dewi
That really is just wrong  What’s the point in discodogs? I've never got into it, is the idea that promoters search for dj's? or just to show off your vinyl collection?

I've never got into it, is the idea that promoters search for dj's? or just to show off your vinyl collection? Discogs.com is fantastic resource, especially for dance music lovers. Virtually everything that has ever been released is there if you hunt for it - it's a website thats purely informative - like this tracklistings website I suppose - i.e. it's for giving you information... Useful for tracking down release dates, labels, new tunes, related aliases, hunting down your next vinyl... endless really. The member thing is not only for people to show off their music collection, but also as a source for exchanging tunage, especially in the case of vinyl, which can be hard to hunt down the later you leave it
