Master Shake
Has anybody tried e-mailing Jules for the 21st track ID?
JasonB
Theres a seperate topic about the infamous unknown last track somewhere else on this forum. But to answer your question, yes, Jules has been emailed multiple times. He has claimed not to know anything about it and to not have played it, saying Col Hamilton did instead. Funny he recognised the guitar riff as to be from a Ry Cooder song though. Col Hamilton denies playing the track also. Emails to various producers has led nowhere. One said the guitar riff was done using a synth, he named the actuall synth used as he is familair with the sound of it. All roads lead to it being a unreleased Jules track, although if it is he'll never admit to it. Otherwise no one knows who actually made it. Spin Doctor
04. Oliver Klein - 'Rheinkraft' (Original Mix) [b Sides] Monster of a tune. I always admired Jules' habit of playing music from a broad spectrum of genres/sub-genres; this one really hits the trance and techno styles right at the apex of the crossover. Searchy
Track 21 sounds like a BXR remix of a York track to me!

Interestingly enough we were actually provided with such a thing but of a more commercial vein than techno BXR. The follow up single to The Awakening was of course On The Beach with the CRW Mix being the main feature of the release. CWR were made of some of the usual BXR players including Andrea Remondini, Massimo Chiticonti, Mauro Picotto, Riccardo Ferri. See Discogs for more: link. mastication_man
Just in case anyone's missed it, track 21 has been IDed as an unrelease A.M.P. (Andy Manston) track. Only took 21 years!

Wasn't there a suggestion it sounded like a AMP sort of thing ages ago, it has similarities to the AMP mix of Namdam - Fruits. Oh well, case solved. Was actually Julian Napolitano who made it apparantly. the SA31 recreation is the nearest thing to it otherwise, superbly made. The end. Suck it condie!
