Max Kane
Tom Bailey presents... The Progressive Showcase Episode 008 with Special Guest Andy Duguid Monday April 28th Exclusive to http://www.sense.fm Join me this coming Monday April 28th for Episode 008 of 'The Progressive Showcase', exclusive to http://www.sense.fm. For this week's show I'm very fortunate to be welcoming another very special guest in the shape of Scottish DJ/Producer Andy Duguid! "Andy's career started back in September 2006 when his production "Hypocrisy" fell into the hands of DJ Tiesto. The following months seen "Hypocrisy" battered out in nightclubs worldwide from the likes of Tiesto,Paul Van Dyk and Armin van Buuren. It was also voted twice in Armin's "In State of Trance" radio shows. It was inevitable that the signing of "Hypocrisy" was just around the corner. Andy received offers from across the globe and eventually Blackhole Recordings sealed the deal. "Hypocrisy" was released september 3rd 2007 and reaching as high as no 5 in the Dutch dance charts. It wasnt just "Hypocrisy" which made the EDM world take notice of Andy as his B-side "Dreamcatcher" was just as popular recieving plaudits from the worlds top DJ's. Andy's Initial break into the industry was followed up by a track which has been classed as "one of the biggest tracks of 2007" "Don't Belong". Since its initial release on the popular In Search of Sunrise series "Dont Belong" has gained support from DJ's throughout every genre. In Dec07/Jan08 "Don't Belong" was the second most requested track on American BPM XMRadio. Its release date was Jan 08'. With a strong place set in the EDM world Andy is now remixing for the some of the biggest artist on the scene. These include Allure , Tiesto , Johan Gielan to name a few. Radio mixes around the world are also keeping Andy busy with his DJ talents in high demand. On top of guestmixes a monthly podcast exclusive to myspace friends is gaining popularity. Andy's production talent is complimented by his DJing. Andy's pure passion for his work are shown in his live sets which always leave the crowd breathless. His seamless mixing talent along with his desire to be inventive keep the crowd wanting more." It's a real pleasure to welcome Andy to the show & he'll be providing us with a fantastic sixty minute mix, which will air during hour number two of this week's show. The opening hour, as always, will be taken care of by myself. Expect to hear the usual blend of progressive goodness. Live tracklistings & details will be made available Monday afternoon in preparation for the 17.00 - 19.00 (BST) broadcast. Hope that some of you can make it! Max Kane
Tom Bailey presents... The Progressive Showcase Episode 010 with Special Guest Freesoup Monday May 26th Exclusive to http://www.sense.fm Join me this coming Monday May 26th for Episode 010 of 'The Progressive Showcase', exclusive to http://www.sense.fm. For this week's show I'm very fortunate to be welcoming another very special guest in the shape of DJ/Producer Freesoup! Having started DJing in 2001 & having explored a range of styles from hard style techno right through to deep house Freesoup has forged a thoroughly individual DJing identity & developed a truly unqiue style. Gaining his first residency for Fuse in 2003 & going on to play across the north of England for leading nights such as Gatecracher & Inside Out in cities such as Sheffiled, Leeds, Newcastle, York & Glasgow Freesoup has seen his profile steadily rise. Freesoup's breakthrough production 'By Default' was also a massive hit, scoring 'Tune of the Week' honours on Armin van Buuren's A State of Trance show back in 2007. Combining a packed gig diary & busy production schedule with resident & promotional duties for Leeds based night 'Blank' Freesoup's profile is definately on the up. It's a real pleasure to welcome Freesoup to the show, his guest mix will be broadcast during hour two of this week's show. Expect to hear a perfect fusion of tech-house & progressive during the second sixty minutes. The opening hour, as always, will be taken care of by myself. Expect to hear the usual blend of progressive goodness. Live tracklistings & details will be made available Monday afternoon in preparation for the 17.00 - 19.00 (BST) broadcast. Hope that some of you can make it!
