Max Kane
A really superb set mate. Faultless mixing and it flowed nicely throughout. Great to hear Jump.. again and I enjoyed most of the tunes, however there were a couple of 'bleepy' ones early on that weren't to my ears and I probably expected more of a stormer for it to finish with, but as it was a live set, I'm sure you were governed by who was following you. Such a shame I couldn't have been there as I can only imagine the reaction you got. Maybe one day I'll see you in a proper club Thanks for checking it out mate, not sure when I'll be back up north again but will buzz you a PM when I am, as for the final tune I had no idea what Matt Everson (DJ on after me) was going to play so didn't wana drop a massive track, just something danceable. Maarten began producing in 2002 aged just fifteen, inspired by artists such as Markus Schulz, Way Out West & Art of Trance amongst others. Maarten's productions have gone on to grace a host of the biggest labels within the trance scene, clocking up releases for the likes of the the Signalrunners' Fraction label, Baroque offshoot WildChild & a consistent stream of releases on Enhanced. This consistency has also seen Maarten perform remixes for the likes of JPL, Jon O'Bir, Adymus, Michael Badal & many more, cementing his reputation as one of trance's brightest new talents. Maarten's excellent sixty minute guest mix will feature during hour two of this week's show. The opening hour will showcase a sixty minute set from myself, featuring productions & remixes from the likes of Pryda, Michael Cassette, Glenn Morrison & Duderstadt along with many more. bigsteve
Sorry its took me so long to get round to listening to this, but I wanted to do it in one sitting. What an awesome mix - a real journey from start to finish, with a more upbeat and different style finish than I've heard from your other shows. A fantastic listen over 2 hours and easily on a par with a Global Underground CD What was the tune from about 1:24 to 1:31ish? And more importantly, when's your next northern gig!
