FuzzY-LogiC
... widened my head like a canopy, more tangible because I could not see it, and endless as a fossil or time-capsule in its recorded state, a soundscape for me to shut my eyes and explore. That was quite an interesting read! I can relate to a lot of what you wrote, but specially the experience about the live shows. When I was first introduced to BBC Radio 1 and specifically the Judge Jules live shows, my mind was blown.... not only was the tracks SO different and brilliantly mixed together, but listening at home in my room... the first hour on the stereo, but the next in my bed with headphones on (because I was supposed to be sleeping ;-))... It was like being beamed into the action next to the DJ booth!! That's the beauty of good quality live broadcasts. I miss those broadcasts.... oh the nostalgia. krist0ph3r
Listening to this mix in 2020, on my phone, passed on from device to device to finally make it to my phone - still as amazing as when I first heard it 20 years ago! still can't believe the journey this mix has taken with me!!! blakeface
Great opening to a set. Plus hearing the roar of the crowd as he mixes in the opening beats of Sandstorm. Wish i was there. Must have been epic. I have the dj mag issue that features this event. Some great pictures, and the weather looked scorching
