Neuro
Great work Fuzzy. What I love about these shows are the really obscure gems which everyone has forgotten about: 07. Cyberdrive - 'Gravity' [stimulant] - is a good example! Excellent track, reminds me so much of this era

Click here to download this file Some minor tweaks to the tracklist there. Enjoyed this show a lot. The half hour mix was great. I had to lol at the Mario Piu into Alena mix It amazes me how early Jules used to get tunes, back in the days of vinyl and white labels. I mean, Alena, he was playing it in July that year, it didnt get a full release until october time that same year. White Labels are sadly, something thats missing from todays digital mp3s and online shops. For me, White Labels were the grass roots of dance music. So many "anthems" (I hate that phrase) were played on white first before becoming big club hits. Nowadays, you just dont get the big club hits, tunes are more disposable and less memorable. I remember hearing the middle part to this show, it was the first time i'd heard Jules. I just thought, WTF is this crap? Back then club music to me was like Phats & Small and stuff. Also, i was still in my Speed Garage phase. I remember immediately swtiching off. It was until a few months later when i fully "got it" and started becoming a regular. I remember this because of the Space Brothers "Heaven Will Come" (Lange Mix). I also remember the Montano vs. Trumpet Man track. VibeFM here in the East (now defunct and has been transformed into Kiss FM) absolutely hammered that track. I remember they playlisted it when it was a white label. That station used to do that when it first started up. The commercialism came in toward the end of 2000. My two personal favourites from this show are Yellowstone "The Weekend Has Landed"; such a great uplifting tune, and Space Brothers "Heaven Will Come" (Lange Mix). Lange was just so on it that year, every record he touched, he turned it into a classic. He was definately giving Ferry Corsten a run for his money that year IMO. Top stuff, cheers cheers for the trip down memory lane. It was great What really brings it home, is that next year, this will be 10 years old wow. Quadrant
This was truly wonderful. Thanks again sir Simcut. I also agree with Moonman's comments about white labels - you can feel the magic in this show, less so in today's digital era. Ross Patzelt
Look like an amazing list of tunes! Loads of my favs in there cannot wait to hear this show! I'm confused by this show. Is this recorded from his radio 1 show or not. I can't hear Jules talking on this show.
FuzzY-LogiC
It is definately from Jules' Radio1 friday show. He is naming the played tunes on top of track 15. Moonman
i think this is my favourite from the archives. The half hour mix isnt the best he's done, but the overall strength of the tunes is just so strong.

Quadrant
Was listening to this again yesterday. One the great things about Jules's Friday shows was that any "shouts" had to be emailed to him and he might read one or two out - a couple of times he says they don't do any phone shouts on Friday, that's for Saturday's [more commercial] show. I really like this, because it made the Friday show a properly specialist DJ show - i.e. very few R1 jingles, no stupid idiots calling in from their car on the way to Liverpool, no "features" to break up the show.. just 2 hours of Jules, his vinyl, and loads of mastermixes
Neuro
I love how Jules launches into the half-hour mix here - he clearly can't be arsed with any competition question or BBC adverts, just dives right in!
