Chrissie Brown
Yeah, are you sure....?Plus, also, that means that it's his own money (essentially) thats paying the costs. Can you enlighten me-sorry for sounding so thick but l would have thought the costs would be alot smaller if using your own company. :?
JasonB
Well ages ago I thought Serious was closed and then shortley after Manifesto was resserected, blame Universal Records for confusion!
dormouse
If another company signs the record, Jules won't be paying a penny. He'll be recieving money (the signing fee). Then the profits will be shared and he'll stand to recieve less of those, so it evens out that way. And obviously vive versa if he signed to his own label. Hope that helps. Hope it's factually correct too!

hippy dave
got it from a fellow kirsty fan, thanks anyway  if anyone's interested, kirsty recorded her own new version of the song (ie without jj's music) and there's a future funk squad remix of it on her new compilation album "meta message" which is out today. very good sexy downtempo tune, if that's your cup of tea. some other great tunes on there too. Chrissie Brown
I thought it was Jules's tune so how can she record it too. :?
hippy dave
she wrote the lyrics & the melody, he wrote the music. i gather he re-used his music with a different vocal over it, and so it seems entirely fair that she re-recorded her bit (the singing) and used it with different music.
