I'm not having a pop personally, i just think that if you look hard enough there are decent tunes around. I just see Mashups as a lazy, easy way to get reaction. I play the odd mashup here and there but i think anymore than 2, for me per 2 hour set, personally is overkill and it just gets boring and loses any sort of impact a good mashup can have.

I guess this is why, although i still like Jules, there are now other DJ's id rather go and listen too. Like Briggsy says, some people see using mashups as bringing exclusivity to their sets - well, i think people would remember a set more if a set introduces people to new decent, tunes.

Just, you know, putting a point out there...

Fair play on getting plays and all that though.
