bigsteve
Has anyone paid off a mortgage or switched lender recently? If so, read this http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/mortgage-fees I phoned the Halifax and we had been overcharged on mortgage exit fees in 2005 by £75 and a cheque is in the post to us! Good luck
Neuro
Brilliant! I assume this £75 will go immediately towards getting roughly 21 pieces of vinyl at £3.50 each?
KR Tech
I am lucky enough to be on a 5-year tracker mortgage which has come in very handy recently. More by luck than judgement, though. KR

Number2Fan
Yes it's taking a long time too, it's all been bloody put on hold until after the banks appeal anout it. I had no idea that adding up my bank charges would come to that much money, 1000 of that was in ONE MONTH!! And they wondered why I was having trouble getting back on track!
