Please please please can anybody help, i'm supposed to be studying for my cima exams this week but this is doing my head in! Judge Jules used to play a track that i swear was some kind of remix of josh wink how's your evening so far.... but i cannot find it anywhere. I have the FFRR 12" of said track, and it's not any of those mixes. It had a different baseline to it, not just the normal continuous beat of the original, but a baseline which went with it?!! I know that's not much to go on - i can't even remember what year it was, i definitely heard it in Eden at judgement sundays, but it could have been 2000, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007 or even 2008 as i was there in each year! I suspect it was in the earlier years though. My only concern is that i may be getting confused and it was either the song before or after josh wink but i really don't think so.

If anybody could let me know what is was and where on earth i can get hold of it i would be eternally greatful!

I'm pretty sure what you are after is a bootleg mashup from2001, Steve Lawler played it among others, it mashes up Hows Your Evening so far with Mr Fingers-Can You Feel It vocals, it is: artist unknown - "In The Beginning There Was French Kiss" (white label)

I hope this is what youre after :)

Thanks for the response buddy. I don't think this is the track as i know mr fingers can you feel it and i don't remember those lyrics being on it. I cannot find anywhere to download / listen to it though for me to be sure. Drives me mad! lol

I reckon it probably was around 2001 though, definitely a while after the original came out. I'm pretty sure Jules wasn't the only one playing it when it was around, i think even dangerous dave pearce may have played it?

Thanks again

Andy

Thanks for your responses, i've had a listen - i know the trisco song now and it's not that :(

I have a suspicion this will haunt me to my dying days!!! It's such a good tune! All i can remember is standing in Eden with Jules blaring it out, thing is i really cannot remember which year it was. I've been trawling through the archives of mix sets but so far no luck.....
