JasonB
You know how to rip cd's yeah? (daft question but hey), rip the track, convert it to a say 128kbps mp3 then use www.zshare.net to upload, when it's uploaded post the link given.

simonross46
I just use Media Player, but if you do use that you need to ensure you have the settings how you want them (I keep them at 320 mp3)
JasonB
http://cdexos.sourceforge.net/?q=download use that to rip from cd to mp3 just set the bitrate to 128
Neuro
CDex is excellent. Stick to the maximum constant bitrate of 320kbps for archiving CD tracks digitally. However, for audio clips for linking on messageboards I'd definitely go lower to reduce the filesize; 128kbps is plenty as Jason suggested

Number2Fan
OMG that is so cool, how do you do that? Does that mean my link didn't work? Thanx for the Neuro btw, very kind and very impressive too, I popped that over to JJ net THANX!!
Neuro
OMG that is so cool, how do you do that? I converted the wma to mp3, upped it to our server, and embedded the mp3 in the post. Nice track! The link you posted was a simple mp3 link which is fine... but you can only embed the mp3 (and therefore make it load in the fancy player) on this messageboard.

JasonB
Usually you can play the track once upoaded, don't know whathappened this time, thats what I always use zshare so people can listen to stuff without having to download the whole chunk to pc beforehand. Number2Fan
When using zshare upon your advice, that's what I thought. It doesn't matter though, it's all practise. Maybe it's because it was still wma?
JasonB
Yeah thats my thinking
Quadrant
Never use WMA sirs! Every device in the world is able to happily play mp3s. Except perhaps my medieval rock catapult.
Number2Fan
LMAO @ Quadrant. I didn't intend to use WMA dear, also, did you refer to me as a sir?
