Does anyone have the Radio1 Dance party from Singleton Park Swansea from around 2000\2001?

Yes, to the best of our knowledge we have all the Radio 1 dance parties and they'll be available for download very soon. We'll try and dig that one out and upload it first, now you've requested it :)

Dangerous Dave. Cheesy and tacky in an incredibly good way!

Much maligned yes, but there were, and still are much worse out there. I remember 'Dangerous' Dave getting so much heat back in the day. Retrospectively, I think he really wasn't that bad. Certainly a play to the crowd DJ.

The memory that immediately springs to mind when I see this set, is a rare cringy, fuddled up handover from Jules at the end of his set, comparing him to a bottle of champagne or some such.

Dave deffo got a bit of unfair stick back then. My main gripe was his often shambolic mixing, but he had an audience and was perfect at catering for it. Good on him.

Gosh, that moment when track 6 appears just after the 23 min mark.... Must find out what that is.

Dave Pearce never got the recognition he deserved. I still remember taping his Dance Anthems show purely for his 3-track minimix near the end, his only chance to play some obscure dance tracks in a show that was otherwise unashamedly Anthem-tastic.

Hi Guys thought I would drop in. Not been on this site for many years and just discovered my uploads or still online.

I don't remember the quality being this poor and it's a Shame I don't have the original cassettes anymore but was fun taking a trip down memory lane.
