Quadrant
I can't stop watching this programme, and how clever it is when they piece it all together. Awesome. But my wife hates it - in fact she said to me last night that it was "one of the most boring programmes I have ever seen"!! If I had another life, I would be an archaeologist, no doubt. JasonB
Used to watch it a lot, afriend who's a archaeologist has appeared on acouple of episodes for a few seconds, back when he worked for Wessex Archaeology headed by man in the hat Phil Harding! Chewbs
I like it, can appreciate it, wach it sometimes but not avidly. I am partial to Dark Ages / Saxon stuff though.
Number2Fan
I like History and I like what time team do, but your wife is right, it is the most boring programme. I'd rather watch Simon Schama accounting the history of Britain.
Chewbs
Anyone remember the Micheal Wood (historian) series 'In Search Of?'; he kicked off with a brilliant series late 70's with 'In Search Of the Dark Ages' which was never released on DVD (something to do with it being shot on 16mm?); set the tone of documentaries to come with his style being emulated by many.....(except for the tight jeans )
