holdensam Posted July 11, 2014 Report Share Posted July 11, 2014 Thought I'd ask here as you guys seem to be a fountain of knowledge when it comes to Judge Jules/Radio 1. Back in the late 90's (possibly '97-'99ish), when Dave Pearce would be speaking between songs on his Radio 1 Dance Anthems show, he would be speaking over a Speed Garage track. Just out of sheer curiosity the ID of this tune has been bugging me for years and I've never thought to ask anyone what it was. Unfortunately I don't have an audio recording and I haven't found anything in the archives (there isn't a separate Dave Pearce Archives website is there!?) So all I'm going on is memory. For all I know it's the one of the most well known Speed Garage tracks there is and this question will be an easy one! I know for a fact that it wasn't a RIPGroove or a Sugar Is Sweeter etc. The bassline sounded more like Spin Spin Sugar from what I remember. Wondering if anyone has any ideas?
