  1. Nice1 N2F, I'm glad to hear it can still be a blast to see Jules and you had a good time, even with the jingles I would love to go see him again some day playing some underground classics.
  2. Amazing find mate!!!! And apologies for being to late to the party! I believe there we quite a few of those bouncy house tracks with "jack had a groove" vocals at that time, so it's like finding a needle in a haystack! Another TL complete... just amazing!!
  3. Thanks khu, but OP found it two years ago. Seems to be an unreleased prod by Lost Witness http://www.judgejulesarchive.co.uk/archives/board/index.php?/topic/9590-obscure-white-label-called-sunrise/&do=findComment&comment=97144 span widget
  4. Better than never I guess... Hiya! I know burien is still tirelessly working the TL's *big thumbs up* I would love to pop in more, but spare time priorities have shifted for the time being. Always keeping an eye on reports of missing/broken files though and I am always just a PM/mail away. I hope everyone is taking care of themselves and those around you!
  5. Indeed, the TL for Jan 16th 98 is not in the archive, and the one JasonB posted from Mixmag is not matching the one you did for your recording... Mixmags: http://www.judgejulesarchive.co.uk/archives/board/index.php?/topic/5330-jules-r1-shows-1998-tracklist-updatescorrections/
  6. Track 5 is Lennie De Ice - 'We Are I.E.' (Hybrid's Lite Mix) [Distinct'ive]
  7. Nice1... Have you asked the uploader if we can perhaps get the original mp3 files for the archive? It would be better quality than ripping the Soundcloud upload.
  8. @mastication_man sorry I didn't see this earlier. Have you found the Turnmills set? I've added all JJ.net sets I could dig up to the archive, and though not all were labeled in regards to venue, there are 3 sets from 2003 that are recorded at Turnmills: http://www.judgejulesarchive.co.uk/archives/board/index.php?/files/category/34-2003/ Check it out if you haven't already
  9. I had the same feeling... Good tune selection, but it doesn't sound like a live mix at all. But I enjoyed it

  12. You could always try to email Mr. Dyk himself.... But check this interview where he mentions quite a few old pieces of hardware. https://www.musicradar.com/news/tech/paul-van-dyk-talks-tech-and-sets-the-music-business-to-rights-625140
  13. Hi N2F! Sorry to admit that my original post hasn't been updated in a while.... I see to have it updated with links to the remakes and whatever new info has come to light (not much, unless the Youtube thread about the guy with the friend who got the record off Jules after his Lush set is true....). As far as I know, there are two real remakes (and that electro thing that just uses the riff). Andy Condie - A Place Called Lush SA31 & Luvstruck - Lush (SA31 Remake) This remake here pretty spot on, in my opinion: Regarding Andy's remake: From Andy's above comment from Feb 3rd, it would seem he is still working on it, so he'll probably put his online when it's more complete I guess. #thehuntcontinues
  14. Or it could have been a legit remix, just named like this so it doesn't looked too poppy ;-) Hard to know without an actual audio snippet, but there is a few housy remixes of "Step by Step" which is probably the more obvious choice in terms of which track this is a remix of. https://www.discogs.com/Whitney-Houston-Step-By-Step-Remixes/release/463310
  15. OK, thanks for the explanation Tomas, it make sense that the clubs were ahead of the official charts Perhaps we can narrow the date down if more audio from that time surfaces... Good to have such strong memories of your trip to London that many years ago, it reminds me of my first time in London
  16. Good selection of tunes... and I like he is mixing vinyl Not sure I ever knew about the Billy Hendrix tune. Very nice!
  17. Track 5: [12:40] ? male rap "take my hand" "little girl"
  18. 4. Donna Giles - And Im Telling You Im Not Going (Trade Mix) "your gonna love me" female I can't find any info on a Trade Mix.... but it sounds very much like the Pride Mix sped up to very high pitch!
  19. I am wondering if maybe the Kiss FM Club Chart point to the UK Dance Singles Chart... If it is, Offshore was no.1 December 21st 1996. As I am not a UK native, I don't know the charts so well, so perhaps someone else can help here? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_UK_Dance_Singles_Chart_number_ones_of_1996 https://www.officialcharts.com/artist/31934/chicane/
  20. As Tomas has mentioned, track 16 might be the A side of this release: https://www.discogs.com/Hair-Prince-Sunshine-Test/release/550029 As Discogs isn't listing bootlegs releases anymore on marketsplace, i guess the place to find it these days is eBay https://www.ebay.com/itm/12-HAIR-PRINCE-Sunshine-Test-WR007-NOT-ON-LABEL-UNITED-KINGDOM-Vinyl-/274393883677 Anyone feel like buying it to verify? ;-)
