    Happy Easter

    Happy Easter all...
  2. Liked this tune - was in the strange categories of French Kiss (what a mental track) and Max Linen's Soulshaker!
  3. CDEX all the way...
  4. The Eddie Halliwell BOSH series on Mixmag are IMO the best CDs he's ever mixed!
  5. These CDs are starting to do my nut now - I much much prefer to make and mix my own classics!
  6. That gotta hurt after wearing those for a while - but they look funky
  7. I have yet to meet anyone on hear either and despite all members having a range of backgrounds and personalities I think I would like to meet pretty much everyone. I've had fairly close contact with Tim Traill, Christian Hann, Simcut, Jason, Briggsy, BigSteve and even Bjorn and Noff over the years and have gotten pretty close to meeting up. It's difficult for me now working and just finding the time that I used to have back in my uni days, but think this can still be achieved by means of meet up
  8. Just catching up on this post and this certainly is reading very interesting! Well done to all for taking part and to Briggsy for taking the intiative to whip something like this up!
  9. This is truly a work of art, great thinking and use of tools to work up into a sublime bit of engineering
  10. Nice thread, Carl On a personal note and IMO of course, Trance hasn't really been doing it for me of late so I think I will have a bash at a few classics if that's cool? Should be fun
  11. skyscanner - I second that
  12. Sad news Simon, and I'm sorry to hear that! This current climate dubbed a load of things just seems to be getting worse! All the best and I hope you manage to sort something out soon...
  13. Also add to your list, Simon, "Ant + Chris Liberator-Spunk (B1 Remix)". Thank you very much for that, this has helped me a great deal on personal quest to procure that tune! For all those raising an eyebrow at this, it is track 14 from this show and will the help of Tim I found out that it was on the Minimum Maximum label but was a b!tch to find as "for the first 42 releases there was no catalogue number code, releases are launched by colours. From 43 on wards the label started using a more conventional catologue number system" (Discogs, 2009) Tim if you see this, or any mods who can update the archive of unknown tracks, then please add this one with all names against it! Thanks again Simon!
  14. Great work, Simon! Yes, the looks of that t/l looks immense! Plenty of tunes in there that still makes the hairs stand up alright!

    Surprise me

Indeed, I believe the correct term is 'vacuuming'. It's the genius of branding, like cellotape is to sticky tape, coke is to cola, biro to pen etc
  16. Cheers Paul... This is a great set since it distinctively flows from lighter to harder and I think the transition takes place after Istanbul, which leads me to comment on this track. I do like it, but it sounds quite similar to 'Cut Off', which is still a beast of a tune and a big fave of mine last year. Your Fred Baker remix is top stuff and the mixing of this set is solid, I enjoyed it.
  17. Merely an opinion, and it may also be slightly bias because I loved the Orig so much. But then again, the T4L and Bipod (Steve Gibbs) remix were also both very good. This M&T remix sounded like a few samples horribly and robotically recycled. I never get to catch the show live anymore so listen again is all I can do
  18. Eddie's been at the last few and so has Dangerous Dave (I think). I was thinking of going this year too, but not too enthusiastic...
  19. Cheers Jason'age... Great to hear E&B - Thrill.. How horrible is that remix of Team SR. Shame on M&T, it just sounds like a complete destruction of that awesome tune. It sounds like a rinse up! Argh!
  20. Looks good, Paul! Nice to some a few newbies in there and looking forward to your album! Thanks
  21. Thanks Nathan - hope you like the mix and let us know what you think?
  22. Thanks Lynnie for your kind comments - I am very grateful for them! Couldn't agree any more, that Signum tune is an absolute beauty (yes Jason the vox kicks it ). Baby Boomers is also a great track and thanks to Ducky (Martin D) for putting forward a great suggestion! I appreciate you taking the time to download, listen and post feedback so thanks again and it was a great little competition that we all took part in!
  23. Cool cool Damager 02 will always be a tune indeed - what sound when it kicks in - great to mix with too Enjoy the mixes - what about your other favourites, 4 Strings and Love Shy
