    Windows Vista

Cheers Tim... yeah I did have a gander last night, but in the end gave up because cba to mess about with tweaks. Instead I found something a little easier. Press the windows key and F3 or, windows + F. Both bring up the same command

    Windows Vista

Any Vista users here? I've had a pretty good experience thus far with my OS upgrade and have been quite lucky with hardware as all had drivers for the upgrade. Serive Pack 1 was release last week and only last night I noticed something a little annoying. The Search facility has been removed from the Start Menu! Now I have grown to like this feature because it's almost like real-time live indexed search e.g. if I type a something in the search box results begin to appear... This has been removed in the upgrade to SP1 and I believe it's because of lawsuit or something with Google! Argghh! Anyone notice this, your thoughts?
  3. That's in there already! That was one of the first tunes that really got me into Trance - I recall it was one of the main reasons why I bought Jules' first Clubbed CD Cheers for all your contributions thus far; all noted and will be duly featured!

    Cue Sheets & Winamp

Didn't mean to confuse, but nonetheless still want to help even more as I think this is a great share! I'll try layout the guide here and hopefully this will help you 1. Ignore my above link (initial post). Download CuePlayer057c, which I have uploaded here for you. I suggest downloading the file to your desktop where you will be unzipping (see point 2). 2. Unzip the file and you should have two '.dll' files; gen_cue.dll and in_cue.dll. 3. Cut and Paste the two files mentioned above to: C:\Program Files\Winamp\Plugins. If you have already done something like this before because of my first post then you may be prompted to overwrite files, click yes to all. 4. That should be it. Drag and drop a cue sheet into your winamp playlist and it will come up just as one file. Double click on the playlist list entry and it should split all the tracks and start playing! NB: The cue sheet must be saved in the same directory as the source mp3 file you want to play to work; this goes for most things i.e. when burning the cue sheet for a cd. 5. Hope this helps - please enjoy
  5. A double request which sees this a pretty top rated tune and especially included! Chrissie, I once had the vinyl too (back in the old days of my vinyl dj ), from memory I think the woody van eyden and the BK mix were on there. I think I'll stick with the vocal for us!
  6. Done! I have the vocal only, which is still a wondeful tune so consider that in there I'm looking forward to it too!
  7. Tom: my thoughts exactly... At first I thought something like that could question her job posistion, but I did see it in the better light and wasn't sure about other listeners. Luckily everyone did pretty much flood Radio4 phones expressing this! Tim - me too, the situation is always intensified when there is act of seriousness, which makes the giggles more prone to go on. If you look at it from a different point of view you would probably not even laugh at all! It's just because you're actually in the situation yourself!

    Cue Sheets & Winamp

Make sure that the plug-in is in the 'plug-in' directory of your winamp program files and simply drag the cue sheet to your winamp playlist and it should work by simply double clicking the entry on your winamp playlist...
  9. I managed to catch this live by listening to the news this morning on the way to work. It was absolutely brilliant! I kinda knew it was coming but when Charlotte began to laugh I had to clap to myself; I thought she might have got bollo**d, but judging by the response most people, like me saw the funyn side and funny enough listeners contacted to express their humour! I arrived at work and told a few colleagues about it and was surprised to see it on the BBC's website by the afternoon! If you haven't heard this I recommend you taking a look by clicking here!
  10. Hey all. Like I have done with Marco V and Steve Murano tracks, I will be dedicating a tribute mix to one of the most musically talented trance producers, Darren Tate (all tribute mixes feature artists who've been influential). Because I like to share all my audio efforts with you for aural entertainment, I would like to involve you all in this process. I'm sure Darren Tate (under one pseudonym or another) has had one track that resonantes a great deal with you. Please could you post your favourite Darren Tate track and I will collate these and put together a special mix. Your track can be any production of Darren's (under any guise; Orion, Jurgen Vries, DT8 Project to name but a few) or remix (although I would prefer own productions for authenticity). I would very much like as many board members to contribute as possible and no doubt it would be interesting to see the results. Hopefully the finished article will be something we can all enjoy together! Thank You

Hmm - but you always gotta start from somewhere...

    Easter Monday

Totally agree with all of the above. We've discussed it many of a time on here: Jules and Tong are probably two of the best all time radio presenters. It seems to come so naturally easy to them
  13. Thanks Chrissie and Uber - your comments and all others were warmly accepted Uber: that was a cut up there and on cue it sounded good and thought would cut the mix up a little; however, upon listening back I wasn't too convinced and nearly redid the mix... I thought I would just leave it in there as even though it does not make it seamless I thought it kinda carries on nicely (eventually) into Strange World. On the subject of that, what did you think of the cut ups on Miss Shiva and the bass boosting for Altitude? It seems Ralphie B was the main boy and O yeah, deseredly so! Stoneface & Terminal's remix of Talla - Shine kinda reminds me of this tune, but apart from that it will always be something special! Cheers again all and hopefully by end of this week will have my next new mix uploaded - it's a bit of a showcase of this years tracks in summary
  14. Thank you kindly Mr JasonB'age! I believe that's my best ranking from you and I'm glad you enjoyed this

    Cue Sheets & Winamp

Np - let me know what you think/how you get on
  16. Have been carrying out some investigatory work with audio files and, coincidentally, whilst loading some cue sheets to my site, I found an awesome plug-in that works with winamp to split sets into tracks inside of the player. So, this works just like a cd with multiple tracks for a mix set, only it utilises one audio file and the sheet. This was a good little plug I found and I know we have discussed cue sheets on here so I thought I would share it link: http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details/143011
  17. I also believe this is the case too (agreeing above with Tim). Intrique - Latino Nights was also a great track
  18. I liked this track from the Cruel Intentions film
  19. Absolutely mental! I think I like a fair few of them and it's tough to chose my fave...

    Cheers for the info
  21. Thank you all - most appreciative of your comments and fully hope you enjoy this mix Yes, it has always been something special to me and when I look back (think 5 y rs back now ) I recall practising so much to perfect a mix and seeming as this was my first; it was a good idea to pay a tribute to it. I liked setting myself the challenge of looking back and redoing this mix with tunes that had not been used elsewhere on other demo's but also from the same, great era!
  22. Hey all. For me, there hasn't been too many belters this year and it's been a fairly slow start. I've been feeling a little reminisce and have actually always wanted to go back and do this. So, I finally got round to visiting my first ever mix demo, spicing it up with new tunes (which have never been featured in my sets and only around during that era [of the first mix demo]) and tried to keep things to an interesting set of 1 hour. Taken from my web site, the mix philosophy is as follows: "Paying tribute to the first ever mix uploaded to the web site, Calling Beyond receives a special 'Revisit and Revision'. Utilising tunes only featured in the original mix or from the same trance era, which have not been featured elsewhere on this site. The 12 special reminiscent tracks featured over the hour do not only aim to provide you with a pleasant reminder of the great tunes gone by, but entertain you in an uplifting style. Tracklisting: 1. Motivation - 'Para Mi (Original Mix)' [Definitive] 2. Jurgen Vries - 'The Theme (Original Mix)' [Direction] 3. Warrior- 'If You Want Me (Original Mix)' [incentive] 4. Fingers Burnt - 'Legoland (Vocal Mix)' [Fingers Burnt] 5. System F - 'Solstice (Original Mix)' [Tsunami] 6. Ralphie B - 'Massive' [Data] 7. Push - 'Strange World (2000 Remake)' [bonzai] 8. The Clergy - 'The Oboe Song (Green Martian Remix)' [FFRR] 9. Reysan Khan - 'Shi-Du 2000 (V.O.O.D.I. Remix)' [Joof] 10. Aza - 'Spectrum (Live Pioneering Mix: Noff Edit)' [White] 11. Miss Shiva - 'Dreams (Cosmic Gate Remix)' [Variation] 12. Altitude - 'Altitude (SHOKK Remix)' [bonzai] Total Time: 63:43 | File Size: 89.9 Mb - MP3 160/320kbps VBR Click here to go to the download page
  23. Not a bad mix Nice one on the Tracklisting all - good work!
  24. Speaking of tunes about love... 'Symphony of Strings - Don't Want Your Love' was also a great tune
