  1. Thank you all for taking the time to check this out, much appreciated It was just something I thought was a good idea since I've always been a fan of all Murano's work. Cheers again
  2. I'm with Vodafone and have had great service. I've still got my legendary K800i (bjorno ), which I had for free... I don't see the sense in spending £35 amonth on a tariff. £20 see's me sweetly done; 150 mins (rollover), 250txts and stop the clock (after 7pm (weekdays) or all weekend - talk upto the hour and only 3mins of my tariff) - happy days
  3. Nice - an interesting read - well done
  4. Thanks everyone for stopping by here, especially JasonB'age and your highness, Quadrant, despite not being fans of Steve Murano, I am thankful that you took the time to check this out
  5. It's been a while since I last did a mix and my time on the hallow 1's & 2's has been somewhat limited of late. The trance scene has been a bit quiet too since the new year began and have had a bit of trouble piecing together an up-to-date mix. I was listening to one of my old mixes the other day (for old times sake...) and having heard a Murano track, I had a bit of spark in me and the drive to think "let's get a special mix on the go!". The Murano sound has been a hit and resonates with a lot of us on here and I tried to put a mini description on my website to reflect this. "Since establishing their unique, uplifting sound from Bootleg Beats 002 to the remix of Dark Monks - Insane, Steve Murano's releases have featured significantly on the mixes of this website as well as many other outings. The trademark of Steve Murano has proved a great hit with many DJ's and clubs across the trance scene. This mix presents some of the finest productions which are compiled into one uplifting set highlighting the years gone by." So here is the tracklisting and I hope you all can take the time to check this out as I am sure there is something in there for everyone! Please let me know your feedback - good, bad and suggestions if you can - all your comments on here are something I look forward to. Perhaps this can give you something to get going over the weekend. Tracklist 1. Steve Murano - 'Bootleg Beats 002' [White] 2. Paul Masteron - 'Stars (Steve Murano Mix)' [You Clash!] 3. Steve Murano - 'Hit The Ground' [bootleg Beats] 4. Steve Murano - 'Passion' [Kontor] 5. Plummet - 'Damaged (Steve Murano Remix)' [urban] 6. ATB - 'Long Way Home (Steve Murano Remix)' [Kontor] 7. Symphonic - 'Spanish Nights (Steve Murano Remix)' [White] 8. Aza - 'Spectrum (Live Pioneering Mix: Dormouse Edit)' [White] 9. Kirsty Hawkshaw - 'Fine Day (Steve Murano Remix)' [Mainline (2)] 10. Fragrance - 'Don't Break My Heart (Steve Murano Remix)' (Pulsive Trance) Total Time: 56:52 | File Size: 72.26 Mb Download MP3 (Right Click & Save-As) NB: Actually thinking about it, Bootleg Beats was the first time I ever came across Steve Murano (sure it was deffo their first production) and Jules Tried and Tested it without having featured it on his show first - it just came straight in as T&T! It was an instant clinger for me and deffo got me into most of the tracks/remixes they produced!

    super Man City

Well done City yeah. Twas not a performance to be proud of at all... It seems we are like Blackburn when Shearer used to be out: 1 man team. Whenver Rooney is out we don't play well, we missed Evra too, but to fair, we didn't look like scoring!

    Weather

Perhaps our highness, Quadrant is building is an underground stealth home for these salmon to roam in. He will then nab them as his appetite pleases for a banquet feast!
  8. Sadly, again for me, this doesn't do it and I'm not fussed on it! I'm leaning more and more toward following Eddie now, but Jules will always be true for showing me the light of trance I think all things come to end, and Jules' peak days are gone. I still love listening to the show though, however am finding myself struggling more and more to get back on the decks! Working just rinses you!
  9. Have always been hairy too... This thread made me chuckle Have been hairy since late high school, but sadly that's when the old mop started getting thin on top and the afro-curles were no longer Go for the straight 0.5 all over now! Hairy legs and chest, not so much on the arms, but I'm sure they will as time goes on... Luckily aswell, the back is good, I don't particularly like hairy backs, there is an exception, I get the lady to wax the top of my back (very bottom of my neck) as I dint like that. Shaving wise, yeah stubble is great, esp when you're thin on the top, so I shave Monday morn / late Sunday night and let it be for a week. Can just about pass it off in work then and your stubbled up/roughed up rugged ready for the weekend (check that out for a 'Julesism') I laughed at how all you men are taking about the jewels, esp when we have a lady present! However, I must admit, it's gotta be maintained and thus I must confess
  10. Women these days seem to be getting away more with showing cleve as it's now the "norm". With pics like that and ladies who do like to show a little, it's definately intentional. I think I once read that is kinda like a subconscious thing for woman to do (especially in western culture and passed through western cultures genes etc) that showing a bit more cleve attracts a man showing she is biologically fit etc. There was a study I read on the bbc that it's the same for legs that are long and just the right length! Men find it attractive and women exploit this! I think personally things like this have now made it into societies norm today passed down from the woman who reidentify themselves with the liberation and intellectualisation of the feminist movement.
  11. Twas a really good show, it seems the format of Eddie's show brought out the best of Jules there
  12. CDEX is a fab bit of kit! Have used it and nothing else for many, many years now
  13. That 'Teasing Mr Charlie' track is suberb! Remember picking that up while back and blasting it!

Because if we are all providing the 'Julesisms' and if we do get this put into some sort of special category section, why should anyone be able to see it? I think it would be a priveledge for the board..?

    Julesisms

Right, we shall stick with this thread (I said that lol in the other 1, but whilst we are here)& commence forth... Importationage from other thread... "Cracking like the whip of a dominatrix, 97-99 Fm radio 1 in the mix" "A caustic couldron of top tunes in the mix on Radio 1" (on top of the break in Sunset on Ibiza) "A raft of roof-raising tunes to rip it up on Radio 1" "Radio 1 on a Friday night - blistering like paint STRIPPA!" "If you like ya beats mixed up, mashed up and generally screwed up, then here we go for 30 minutes uninterrupted in the mix." "Radio 1 supplying tunes more banging... than the Viagra Clinical Testing Programme" "Ripping It Up like A discarded betting slip" "A tune more talked about than where Justin Timberlake had his hand at the Brits". "A tune more interesting that Winona Ryders shopping bag" (when she got caught shop lifting...) "maximum speaker devastation and sonic penetration" "always dramatic, never amateur!" "Raising the stakes with 2 hours of rare tuneage" "Flatter than a LCD TV" Here are some I added myself "Tunes designed for so much gyration, you might find your head turning backwards like something out of The Exorcist" "Delivering the goods to you like parcel force" "More crunch than a golden delicious" "Taking your temperature and diagnosing it with a Saturday Fever" "A track with more teeth than melinda messenger" "Meaty beats that can be stewed up"

    Julesisms

Yeh - how on earth are they cheesy? If anything, they are intellectual and what is more, I like how he invents smoe of them according to whats going in the media. Uber - nice find, I was gona post some myself, I think we need either Simmy, Bjorn or Tim to have a say in this, but it would be nice to these documented and viewable for members only.

    Julesisms

It has become a bit of a regular occurence for us to reminisce some of these classic Julesisms (as we have branded em). Anyhow, what about getting just a small section of the archive site for some of these and having them documented - for members only though. I would list some of my favourites, but think will wait to see what your thoughts are..?
