I can't believe (well, i can) that this track still hasn't been ID'd. After reading the whole thread, it does point to being a Jules production

Love this track - I managed to find it on discogs a few years back for about a tenner. I'm listed on the discogs owners list for this one (drummersbeat). I've just included this track in a 1997-2000ish classic trance mix. I'll try to upload it tomorrow....

Off topic slightly, but sir dancetothedrummersbeat, you were the one who submitted that 2-hr Ferry Corsten download on here covering for Jules in 2000.... Did you record any more like this?

Hi Quadrant, yes that was me. I'm only a part time visitor to this forum to be honest. I tend to alternate between this and a few old school bmx forums. Every few months I have a spell where I put on my trance trousers and get involved again. All the material I uploaded/submitted was a mix of stuff that was given to me by 2 friends, plus some stuff that i'd recorded myself. Sadly i've sent in everything I have - Cant remember if i sent it to you or Simcut???....

Might have been about £30+. I cant remember exactly, as i bought a few things around the same time. I paid about £50 for a drum n bass bootleg of Dusty Springfield's 'Son of a preacher man' - A bit cheesy, but it works a treat at student/varied music nights.

A tough one, but i'd probably have to say....

2. DJ Sandy vs Housetrap - 'Overdrive' (probably Mogui's Amnesia Fog Generator Mix, but the original & Steve Lawler mixes are great too).

Hi all. I've almost completely retired from dj ing after 13 years and am looking to fill my spare time by making music. Me & a friend want to make anything from trance to hip hop, to drum n bass. Can anyone recommend any software? Our budget is about £300. The one that i'm thinking of getting is Ableton Live, but does anyone else have any suggestions, and give the pros/cons for their selected software? Many thanks.

Ive got MITCH AND MART - GET UP on a one sided white label vinyl featured on clubbers guide 2000 cd not seen any of them about so ill go with that

I've also got Mich & Mart 'Get Up' on 2 sided white label. Bought it off discogs & paid quite a bit for it, but its a gem.

Found it! It's by Bahamadia, and its called 'uknowhowwedu', released in 1996.

Had no reply from Tom Novy & no info on the net. My copy of this tune in on white label test press. Does anyone have the official release? Does it credit the sample? Can anyone help?

Been sorting out my records & pulled Novy vs Eniac 'Pumpin' out. Brings back the memories of '99. Does anyone know what the vocal sample is? I remember reading an old interview/record review written by the judge, where he confirms it is an old hip hop sample. Does anyone know the artist & title please?
