  1. Yeh I've noticed that with a few DJs. Jon O'Bir's sets at Gods back in '04/'05 were the best I've seen him play, whenever I've seen him elsewhere he's not been up to the same standard, perhaps it's a comfort zone thing? Jules @ Gods is another one I've noticed, I've seen him there plenty of times but only once has he really been on top form, back in Feb 2004 when he played after Ferry, that night he was immense.
  2. I was there for the original vid posted by N2F, was a fantastic set
  3. Tres Bien, Family Guy surely has to be the most quotable comedy program ever?
  4. Borat has some very funny moments but I don't think this is one of the best, still if it amuses the mighty Quadrant then maybe it's too subtle for me
  5. Well people aren't going to check every track but if say you've got a tune which isn't widely available yet or is in promo then an artist may query where you got it from. If you purchased it from an online store or got sent it thru a promo pool then you'll have the relevant emails to prove you paid for it or got sent it, if you don't have those documents or proof then they can acuse you of piracy I'm keeping this brief but it does happen. I feel I have nothing to hide as I obtain all of tracks legitimatly so why not keep a record of this?
  6. It's not hard to do & saves any unwanted potential hassle I might get. I've heard of plenty of DJs beng ask to show an invoice for a tune when they've played it out. I just keep a folder in my inbox & automatically save all the receipts there
  7. I'm not condoning it or anything, I mean I have invoices & receipts from every tune I have ever purchased to make sure I'm whiter than white. I hate what piracy does to legitimate musicians & labels & feel it's wrong. But there will be an awful lot of people who will want this track, so why limit it to 1000?
  8. Why make a limited edition download? It's never going to have re-sale value & I bet a large contigent of people wouldn't be above downloading it illegally if they miss out? Seems like a bit if a stupid promotion
  9. Digital Society presents... "Digital Society Album Tour Launch." MyHouse, Leeds. Friday March 13th 2009. Main Room Lange John O'Callaghan Matt Hardwick b2b Kane Nelson Manuel Le Saux Temple One Activa Will Holland Blank Tom Bailey Jamie Fisher Robert Glenn Mark Naylor DS Invitation Josh Demello Che Armstrong Joe Napier Hiddenagenda Harry Fowler http://www.digitalsociety.co.uk http://www.club-blank.co.uk http://www.myspace.com/digitalsocietyuk Very excited to be playing in Leeds again for 'Blank' as part of Digital Society's massive March event. Having played for the guys at Blank last April & having sampled the DS atmosphere a few times before I can safely say it's right up there as one of the best emerging nights I've been to. Excellently run & in a gem of a club. All being well I'll be using my set for the show too. More info to come
  10. There should be something that gives you the scheduled time over at http://www.sense.fm mate, it's my host station for my show as well & they usually have times for USA, CET & UK listed

  12. The letter to Virgin is magnificent, that guy must be a professional writer
  13. Jason's photoshop skills know no bounds. Not sure about you assertion that it's a teenage requisite to have a crush on a page three girl though Simon, I think that's another example of your over-active internet based...erm...persona
  14. Smoky Bacon would still be my favourite flavour, BBQ Rib are good but you never see them anywhere
  15. Anytime there are new Rex Mundi tracks announced it's cause to get excited

I guess it's a worthy thread, we need to make the country aware of this internet predator known as 'Simon Ross' which is obviously an alias for a much more evil pseudonym
  19. Haven't seen them anywhere around my way yet, none of them sound particularly appetising tho the breakfast one could be good

The thread is a bit saft but this picture makes it worthwhile

    Genious

I think everyone noticed but I'm amazed Jason 'I have my own language' B was the one to correct it
  22. I understand the severity of the case & everything else that goes with it but these kind of things really do annoy me. I'll freely admit that as soon as I saw 'forward this to everyone in your email' I closed the file
