I'm trying to clear a load of my vinyl and before I start to list them for sale on various sites I thought I would offer them on here first.

I thought the best thing would be to post my discogs collection, let you have a browse and if you are interested in any, PM me.

Only thing is that the majority are for sale but not everything. So if you are interested in any, let me know and I'll tell you if they're for sale etc.

Hopefully they'll find there way to some good homes instead of hanging around here and being unplayed!

Yeah I too haven't used them for a few years. Perhaps not many were using them, they always had more commercial music.

Don't know if anyone has ever used Xpressbeats for MP3s, but I received an email yesterday saying that they are closing down. Just wondered if anyone knew why?

If you drop me a message or reply to this I'll try to give you a hand. Got quite a lot of experience with wordpress etc and work as a web developer, so hopefully I can be of some help to you & don't mind giving a hand!

Record some vocals onto your computer. Then use some software such as audacity or adobe audition to have a play around with it and filters etc.

You can find various fx on the net, layer these up in some sort of multi-track editor until you have something decent! It's all about playing around with various sounds and working out what sounds good together.

I know what they mean but in this case whats causing the board to be unavailable like, why is this error happening recently

Apologies, as you said "something like that" I didn't realise you knew what they meant

500 errors are a server error. I.e. If the server goes down or is overloaded.

404 means a page cannot be found. I.e. it no longer exists.

Hope that sheds some light on what they mean

The problem is, a couple of people saved their mixes at 128kbps, so if I encode it to 192, it'll make those sections that were recorded at a lower quality sound even worse Its a shame everyone didn't stick to the 320 kbps quality

I think my bitrate may have been low because I rushed it mix out. If someone had told me over the last three months I could've re done it...

I want a Macbook. My next laptop will be one of those!

Definitely do it! I bought one about 2 months ago and use one at work too. I've had absolutely no problems, so good for running lots of programs at once, I can't imagine using a PC again now!

Buy a macbook or a macbook pro and you'll be well away!
