  1. the swoopshare link seems to be in order, cheers lads
  2. Cheers matey, I will have a go at it and hopefully get it sorted in one clean sweep The download for that Burrrn programme has exceeded the download limit, but I shall try and hunt it down elsewhere.
  3. I now have a .cue file thanks to the link supplied by Aza. Where do I go to extract this for the final MP3's?
  4. haha, thats pretty clever would be even better if they edited whats showing from the other side also ... schoolboy error right there!
  5. The Durand mix was really the height of Lethal Industry's success so far. Its a great original that was made even greater. Too much talk of the Durand mix may spark another 'should classics be remade?' debate again though haha. I think I came across the Fred Baker mix on a download spree ages ago .. the version I heard was nothing to my ears but as it is most of the time, it has probably been edited further since then. I always hear a track and think nothing of it, but then when its on the radio it is virtually a new track altogether compared to what I heard!
  6. Will it do it properly or still leave gaps in between. Ive had this problem all the time making CD's for myself and its frustrating
  7. Right then chaps, I have recorded a new mix which spans just over an hour. I have done it mainly for a friend in a car club I have been a part of for about 4 years. He would like it to be on a CD to play in his car ... which means its essential to have the mix split into tracks. The software I use to convert files also has a splitter with it, but even on 'high precision' I still find that when all the tracks are put together there are clear gaps. I need something that can split these tracks at the ultimate precision so that when my mate listens to this, he wont notice when one track finishes and another starts (even if he tries to listen for it). Does anyone have a programme that they know does this job exactly how I would like or is it just impossible to get what Im looking for in any programme what-so-ever?
  8. I am loving the Mojado remix, they are great producers in the first place and that track has been made even better. A great mix aswell I love it.
  9. Terry was a right state when the match was over. Im very pleased with the result though.
  10. I used the JOC remix in a mix of mine, from what I know I say its definately the Duderstadt Remix.
  11. I didnt know you were on here Mr Webster. Hello to you my man! I will be having a listen to this aswell, Im sure it wont disappoint
  12. If they have seen what the prisons are like then they wont do anything out of order. There was a news report a couple of days ago showing the force of the riot police (virtually the military) and all the cells. They will be thrown in with some of Moscows toughest criminals. I would keep quiet if it got heated in any crowds haha. My prediction: nothing specific ... Man U will win
  13. haha, only 2 years older than me ... sounds pretty damn cool though. Has that distinctive Petshop Boys sound to it
  14. This will be a sure booster for those older tunes then wont it. You get the less knowledgable people hear compilations such as the ISOS series and think its all new, and then run out and buy the tracks even though they have been on the shelves for some time. I used to be like it, and still am on some occasions haha.
  15. I have never been a fan of Tiestos remix of 'Adagio For Strings', the sounds hurt my ears more than anything I cant see how it earned such popularity. The concept of remixing orchestral records I really like though. Armin uses orchestra's in his intros a lot, and also in some of his productions. They give tracks and mixes are different feel about them.
  16. I would like to see some orchestral style tunes. Like when Tiesto did 'Adagio For Strings'. Im no expert on that genre so I cant name anything specific haha.
  17. haha, sure is taking his time to find the sunrise! The only track I really recognise is Cressida - 6am ... I will probably recognise more when I hear them. ISOS 6 was a dissaoppointment for me too. It was the ISOS compilations that brought me to Trance music more specifically, ISOS 2 and 4 were the ones that did it for me.
  18. Do join the fun, be a part of the W-Unit friendship circle phenomenon
  19. ahhh I am not an iTunes person myself. Ive had some people criticise it, but since I have no i-pod then I dont feel the urge to have it lol.
  20. DJ's are under all sorts of different guises these days anyway ... does get a tad confusing. Got to keep on top of it all
  21. The mention of Breakfast sparked a thought. I really enjoyed 'Sunlight' which he did. The JPL remix of 'Sunlight' really exaggerated the best features from it too. Im not sure if it will become a classic like the sort we know today though. Simon Patterson's 'F16' is sort of tip-toeing on the line at the moment, but a lot of his more recent work is getting much better. Will be good to see how far this new talent will go.
  22. Yeah the recording on his Myspace is from ASOT also. Im sure that if Pura Vida gets its release then this Evol Waves remix will be part of the package because its truely sublime
  23. This is all very helpful information guys. Those screenshots are good to check out too, gives an insight into what to expect. I will have a go with the Win-Lame version first as I can see what it will be like already. If theres any trouble then at least I can move on to some other options!
  24. Sounds fairly simple, I shall give it a try!
  25. I am in a bit of a dilemma at the moment; I use both a laptop and a desktop PC for making my mixes and bootlegs. When I record my mixes using Virtual DJ, if I am using the laptop I can record directly into MP3 format but my desktop PC does not have an MP3 Encoder to do this same function. There is an option to choose different encoders on the Virtual DJ programme but at the moment my desktop PC can only record as WMA files. Can I download a [good] free MP3 encoder anywhere? I have done a google job but all the results appear virtually the same so Im hoping that someone on here will have a specific recommendation. Are they fairly straight forward to sort out too? It will be nice just to install it like anything else then just select it on the programme when it comes to recording time.
