Massive gig Tom, well done mate! I would have popped down but it clashes wth my mates engagement party Genix is a superb DJ - his warm-up set for Armin in August last year was top notch. Very dark and dirty and makes a nice change from the usual sort of stuff we get during the warm-up set at the other big club brands.

I feel much better than I did a fe weeks ago - i'm really chirpy at the moment, but before christmas, I felt so s***. I think its cos I had a change of routine over xmas with two weeks off work, and now i've got a couple of things to look forward to such as finishing college and finally having a qualification in 4 weeks. My mixing is the best its been for years at the moment and the nights are starting to draw out again too The only thing p***ing me off is having to get ice off my windscreen every morning. I've been doing it since late October. Normally, I don't have to do it until around January time. Its been a harsh winter so far I hate winter. I'm all for long days and scorching weather (not that we see much scorching weather).

Nah, I think it was some documentary about Robson Green - and they were showing clips of them when they were singing. Jerome Flynn has quit TV now. He's got a job as a counsellor or something now. Very odd career after having all that fame for years.

Nice edit! lol Its not very often we get to see anything decent on Channel 4 - so its nice to see a nice pair of t**s on that Channel. The last time we saw a pair of t**s on Channel 4 was when Robson & Jerome were on there a few months ago.

Thats because i've been feeling chirpy and got more involved again. I think my post count went up by 100 just over the weekend alone with randomness. Make the mos of it while it lasts - who knows how long it'll be before I start feeling s***ty and not wanting to geinvolved again

I don't think its Signum either - its not really their style, but there are a few elements (the synth, and lead drum), etc that sound like the style they used. The problem with back then is that a lot of people were using the same hardware and used some of the same features - which is why stuff is so hard to identify. These days, everyone has more of a unique sound, so you can normally ID the artist straight away without having heard the tune before. I think this is going to be one of those that is never solved

It doesn't sound anything like a Paul Masterson production in my opinion. Around that time, Masterson had a funky-edged Trance sound where the emphasis was placed around kick drums and a punchy bassline. This doesn't seem like his style. Can I throw a spanner in the works and say that a few elements in this tune remind me of Signum's sound from back then?

Good idea mate! I reckon that if this site is going to be the ultimate shrine to Jules, then it should cover everything - from Julesisms and tracklistings. I reckon Jules should send us all a copy of every tunes he owns too - so that we can bring back memories of Jules's good old tunage in our very own bedrooms

I can't comment too much because i've not been - but from what i've seen and heard, the agreement between Slinky and Elements was that Elements had to invest in a better sound system if Slinky were to take their business there.
