Well done. 10/10!!!

I requested off Jules a few tracks inc. Urban Train - Cosmic Gate Rmx and Yves Deruyter - Back to Earth. See email below:

"Hi Jules,

Good to see the new addition of tracks from times gone by to your saturday night mix. 'Gone but not forgotten' was always a quality feature and this furthers that by incorporating them into the mix. Spot on!

My requests:

Yves Deruyter - Factor Y

Yves Deruyter - Back to Earth (Rave Mix)

Tiesto - Urban Train (Cosmic Gate Rmx)

Don Diablo - Acceleration (Svenson & Gielen Rmx)

Tried not to pick the obvious 'classics' that are certain to be picked e.g.

Cafe Del Mar' 'For an Angel' etc....

Also a note on the Godskitchen event in Bournemeouth last weekend. Travelled down from the Midlands for this event and was absolutely horrified by the stupid cue to get in as only one door was open and most people were being searched. Fair enough they're doing their best to eradicate drugs etc but if they know that they're going to be so thorough, get more staff in. We arrived at 9:45 and didnt get in till 11:15. Apparently they were stopping admission at 11:30. No chance. There was still a massive cue at this time.

A bit of a dissapointment as we missed most of Above & Beyond who played (from the small part we heard) a good set."

His Reply.....

"Hi Joel

Thanks for your email...

Sounds like the BIC was really stupid on the queue front. They should have had that sorted!

I'm looking for Back To Earth. God knows where it is, but I'm try and find

it for the weekend...

Cheers for the suggestion..."

Did I catch the 25/03/06? No!!! Anyone got it on recording?

He also has good organisation with his records in that he hasn't a clue where any of them are!!

but he's having them compiled on to cd gradually, so some of them aren't in the studio at the moment

Alright for some hey - tell someone to back up all my records. The likes of me had to do the painful process themselves :?

To be honest l just don't have the time to transfer all my tapes on to a different format, ie; mp3 or CD.

Any budget audio recorder does the job if you want to record off your PC (onto PC, if that makes sense, e.g. off listen again) if you select the correct source in the software, though if you wan't to save them as mp3s rather than big wav files then a another converter such as Razorlame does the trick best.

Love Back to Earth by the way. The Rave mix!!

If your dj'ing hobbie/favourite pastime depended it and something you take seriously then you gotta make time! It did take a bloody long time - but well worth it in the end.

With regards to recording the show, I use "total recorder". Usually get very decent quality, initially records as ".wav" then use "cdex" to convert it to any bitrate you want. I have sent Tim a couple of shows, and some eddie halliwell residencies - all good :)

Hasn't the lovely Chrissie got like 500,000 tapes though? :?

I've done enough tapes myself but couldn't be arsed to convert every single one!
